Favorites to win the Toyota Save Mart 350
The red-hot Chase Elliott is the betting favorite to win the Toyota Save Mart 350 at +225. After winning two weeks ago at the Circuit of the Americas, Elliott posted a 2nd-place finish in last week's Coca-Cola 600. That gives him three straight Top-3 finishes and four Top 5s in his last five races — with the other result being a seventh-place finish.
With this event not being held in 2020, Martin Truex Jr. is still the two-time defending champion and is second on the odds board at +500. Truex Jr. has three victories already this season but he has struggled since his win at Darlington, posting a 19th-place finish at Dover, a DNF at the COA and a 29th-place result last weekend at Charlotte.
Kyle Larson has the third-best odds to win at +600. The only other driver at better than 10/1 odds, Larson had posted three straight second-place finishes before getting the victory last weekend.
The Top 5 is rounded out by Kyle Busch (+1,000) and William Byron (+1,200).
How to bet on NASCAR
The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.
Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
