DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for April 4

Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 32.5 points: MORE

SGA is a staple in my entries, and there’s good reason for it. I mean, he’s the MVP frontrunner who is an unstoppable force on a nightly basis. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 32.8 points per contest and has dropped more than 32.5 points in three of his last five outings.

SGA just erupted for 33 on April 2 and he’s averaging a whopping 36 ppg against the Houston Rockets — the OKC Thunder’s opponent this evening. I expect the Canadian superstar to put together another impressive performance.

Suns Devin Booker 26.5 points: LESS

Book is having a solid campaign for the struggling Phoenix Suns, and with Kevin Durant sidelined due to injury, he’s had to step it up. While Devin Booker has scored more than 26.5 points in back-to-back games, including a 39-piece earlier this week, he failed to surpass 20 points in three straight prior to that.

Also, the Suns are up against the high-flying Boston Celtics tonight. Not only are they one of the best defensive teams in the Association, but the C’s are also holding shooting guards to just 21 ppg in 2024-25. Boston will keep Book in check.

Cavs Donovan Mitchell 25.5 points: MORE

Spida is the driving force behind the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers’ success, averaging a team-best 24 points per night. Donovan Mitchell is putting up 24.5 ppg on the road compared to 23.4 at home — and the Cavs are down in Texas tonight visiting the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs are depleted, as Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox are done for the season, and Spida scored 25 against them earlier in the campaign. He’ll show out.

Nuggets Nikola Jokic 9.5 assists: LESS

The Joker is arguably the most talented playmaker in the league, and he’s a big man. The Serb is averaging 10.2 assists per game and continues to facilitate the rock at a high level, no matter the opponent. However, he’s dished out less than 9.5 dimes in three of his last five appearances.

The Denver Nuggets face the Golden State Warriors tonight, who are around the middle of the pack in the league in fewest assists allowed. Nikola Jokic also had just six dimes against them when they last met.

Celtics Jayson Tatum 26.5 points: MORE

Jayson Tatum is the main man for the defending champions, averaging 27 ppg on 34.6% shooting from 3-point land. The forward has put up 26.8 points since the All-Star break and while he’s only scored more than 26.5 points twice in his last five, it does feel like Tatum is due for a big game.

Also, the Celtics are facing the Suns tonight, who are a nightmare defensively. This feels like a perfect opportunity for Tatum to put together a signature performance at the TD Garden in front of the Boston faithful.

Hornets Mark Williams 9.5 rebounds: MORE

The Charlotte Hornets may be horrible, but they’re undoubtedly happy to still have Mark Williams after a trade fell through with the Los Angeles Lakers. The center is a physical presence on the glass, averaging 10.2 rebounds in 41 games played this season.

He’s grabbed more than 9.5 boards in four straight games, bringing down 13, 12, 13, and 12 rebounds. That alone is enough reason for me to believe he’ll have another solid game on the boards against the Sacramento Kings.
