DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for April 7

Knicks Cade Cunningham 26.5 points: MORE

Cade Cunningham is the driving force behind Detroit’s return to the playoffs. He’s averaging a team-best 25.7 points, 9.1 assists, and 6.2 rebounds. The guard just returned from an injury, scoring 25 points in a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The former first overall pick was out of the lineup for nearly two weeks before that, but he did score 33 points against the Kings the last time these two teams met. Cunningham is also playing at home here. I expect a signature performance.

Knicks Quentin Grimes 22.5 points: MORE

Once again, Quentin Grimes is in my entries. I mean, it’s hard not to include him. With the Philadelphia 76ers missing all of their stars, Grimes is the main option, and he’s flourishing. The guard has dropped more than 22.5 points in three straight games and just scored 28 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He’s averaging 22.3 ppg since coming over to Philly via trade, and he put up 26.6 points per night across 14 outings in March. I have no doubts Grimes will show out again tonight versus the injury-riddled Miami Heat.

Knicks Domantas Sabonis 19.5 points: MORE

Domantas Sabonis is more than just an elite rebounder. The big man is averaging 19.2 points, and he’s registered more than 19.5 points in three of his last five. Sabonis just went off for 27 on Sunday evening against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While he’s yet to face Detroit in 2024-25, the Pistons allow right around 22 ppg to centers, and Sabonis is currently playing dominant basketball. He’ll make his presence felt on the road and keep up his hot streak.

Knicks Zach LaVine 3.5 assists: LESS

Zach LaVine has never been the best playmaker, but he’s still averaging 4.1 dimes per night this season. Since coming to the Kings, however, that number has dipped to 3.5. The guard has dished out less than 3.5 assists in six straight contests.

The Pistons are Top 10 in fewest assists allowed as well. I’m predicting another quiet evening for LaVine as a facilitator.

Knicks Tim Hardaway Jr. 2.5 threes: MORE

Tim Hardaway Jr. is a key contributor for the playoff-bound Pistons, especially from long range. He’s averaging 2.2 makes on 5.9 attempts for a 37% clip. The guard has also drained more than 2.5 triples in four of his last five outings.

While Hardaway was just 2-for-7 from beyond the arc against the Kings earlier in the campaign, I’ll ride his hot hand. Sacramento is also dead last in the worst three-point percentage allowed in the Association.

Knicks Keegan Murray 12.5 points: LESS

Keegan Murray has taken a step back this season, averaging 12.5 points compared to 15.2 in 2023-24. He’s dropped less than 12.5 points in three of his last five outings and averages just 12.3 ppg against Eastern Conference opponents.

Murray played 37 minutes versus Detroit last time out and registered a mere 11 points. He’s not playing with much confidence lately, and the Pistons are a very good defensive team. I think they will keep the sharpshooter in check tonight.
