It’s a great night of NBA action with six games on the board for hungry bettors to dig into.
Tonight, I hone in on a could of double-doubles at tantalizing plus money, while taking advantage of one player’s point total being over-inflated.
Here are my best NBA player prop picks for Tuesday, March 21.

Magic Man
Wendell Carter Jr. has been a double-double machine down the stretch for the Orlando Magic, and he’ll have a great chance to keep that going when they host the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night.
Carter looks like an important piece to this Magic core moving forward. The Magic big man is averaging 15.6 points per game while shooting 52.7% from the floor. He’s also adding 8.9 rebounds per contest as well.
But Carter has taken his game to the next level recently, bumping those numbers up to 16.3 points and 10.4 rebounds over his last 10 games, recording seven double-doubles over that stretch.
The Wizards will be without one of their top rebounders in Kyle Kuzma, who is out with an ankle injury. In Carter’s lone meeting against the Wizards this season, he missed a double-double by just one rebound.
Given Carter’s increased usage rate and his proclivity for cleaning the glass, I’m riding with him to record his eighth double-double in his last 11 games.
Wendell Carter Jr. prop: To record a double-double (+145 at bet365)
Fading Brandon
It looks like the San Antonio Spurs are throwing in the white flag tonight when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans.
There won't be a single reliable starter available for Gregg Popovich in this Western Conference matchup. As a result, the Spurs are massive 13-point underdogs against a Pels team that desperately needs to start stringing together wins.
While a blowout is certainly in the realm of outcomes here tonight, I think Brandon Ingram’s point total is getting a little too much of a boost in this spot.
Ingram is having a solid season for the Pels (when he’s been on the court), averaging 23.2 points per game which includes shooting a solid 39.3% when shooting from 3-point range.
That said, oddsmakers are giving him a bit too much respect in this matchup, setting his point total at 27.5. That’s a number he’s eclipsed just twice in his last nine games.
Look for the Pelicans to spread the ball around in this matchup as they play to an easy victory. Ingram won't need his best output and may not even play in the fourth quarter if this one gets out of hand.
Brandon Ingram prop: Under 27.5 points (-120)
Backing Brodie
Russell Westbrook faces off against his former team when the Los Angeles Clippers host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, and I’m betting the former MVP will stuff the stat sheet.
After a bit of a rocky start to his Clippers tenure, Westbrook has settled into his new role as Los Angeles has won five of its last six games. Westbrook is averaging 13.1 points while shooting 45% from the floor and adding 7.8 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game. The veteran point guard has recorded four double-doubles over 11 games as a member of the Clippers but has narrowly missed out on many more.
The Thunder are an undersized team that ranks just 26th in rebounding rate and dead last in opponent rebounds per game. Their high rate of play also tends to lead to more high-scoring games.
Westbrook’s final game with the Lakers also came against the Thunder, where he went for 27 points and eight dimes. At +225, it’s worth backing him to record a double-double tonight.
Russell Westbrook prop: To record a double-double (+225)
