Today’s best NBA player props

The Pacers host the Bucks as 2-point underdogs this evening. Indiana has gone 3-1 SU and ATS in its last four games and All-Star Domantas Sabonis dropped 20 points in each of those wins. The big man is averaging 18 points per game this season after putting up a career-high 20.3 ppg last year.

The Bucks have won six in a row but still rank a modest 16th in the league in points per game allowed. Sabonis also has a history of playing well against the Bucks, scoring 21 points on 61.5 percent shooting when these teams previously met up last month and averaging 21.7 ppg in three contests against them last season.

With the Over/Under on his points total set at just 15.5, grab the Over.

Pick: Domantas Sabonis Over 15.5 points (-115 at Bet365)

The Raptors are struggling going just 2-5 SU and ATS in their last seven games but Scottie Barnes continues to make his case for Rookie of the Year. The forward has scored 17 points in back-to-back games but his most consistent numbers have come on the glass where he averages 8.3 rebounds per game.

With the Celtics playing without their leading rebounder in Robert Williams III for the third straight game, expect Barnes to gobble up rebounds once again.

Although Barnes' rebounds total is set at 7.5 at most books for today's contest you can still get it at 6.5 at some spots. That one fewer rebound might be well worth the juice with Barnes grabbing fewer than seven boards just three times in 18 games but grabbing exactly seven rebounds on four other occasions.

Pick: Scottie Barnes Over 6.5 rebounds (-132 at FanDuel)

There's trouble in La-La land with the Lakers losing five of their last seven games including Friday's overtime shootout against the Kings. LeBron and company should be in a good spot to bounce back tonight however as they face off against a Pistons team that has lost five in a row.

The Pistons are last in the league in scoring with 98.6 ppg and rookie Cade Cunningham has struggled to find his touch. The No. 1 draft pick has scored 10 points or fewer in three consecutive games, shooting just 24.2 percent from the field over that span. However, Cunningham is still doing a good job of facilitating and has now racked up at least six assists in seven straight games.

The Lakers are allowing 25.8 assists per game, the fourth-highest number in the league and they play at a frantic tempo which should mean more scoring opportunities than usual for Detroit. Take the Over 5.5 on Cunningham's assists total tonight.

Pick: Cade Cunningham Over 5.5 assists (-145 at DraftKings)
