C.J. McCollum has been absolutely scorching hot to start the year, raining 12 triples through his first two games. McCollum should stay hot from deep against the Clippers tonight, highlighting our best NBA player props for tonight's hardwood slate.

We have plenty of basketball this Monday with nine games on the NBA betting board, giving us hundreds of player prop bets to consider.

We've dug through all the numbers to find the best value plays on the market and tonight we're backing a surging rookie north of the border, a key bench player for the defending champs, and a red-hot shooting guard on the West Coast.

Here are our best free NBA daily player props for Monday, October 25.

When the Raptors took Barnes with the fourth overall selection in the draft there was some disappointment from fans that were expecting Gonzaga guard Jalen Suggs (*cough cough* yes I was one of them *cough cough*). Fast forward to the first week of the season and Barnes is fast improving and looking like a Rookie of the Year candidate in a stacked draft class.

Barnes had a rough opening night against the Wizards, where he turned over six times, but he still contributed with nine rebounds. He has only one turnover in his last two games, however, while scoring 42 points and gobbling up 22 boards in 65 minutes over that span.

Tonight, Barnes and the Raptors are hosting the new-look Chicago Bulls and we're backing the Over on his rebounds prop.

Another Raptors player rebounds prop that intrigues us is the Over 7.5 rebounds for Precious Achiuwa, who has pulled down 27 rebounds in 58 minutes over the past two games. But if Achiuwa gets into early foul trouble (or Toronto coach Nick Nurse lets Chris Boucher out of the dog house) he could see his minutes drop while Barnes' spot in the lineup seems secure.

Pick: Scottie Barnes Over 6.5 rebounds (-135 at Bet365)

The Bucks re-signed Connaughton to a three-year, $16-million deal in the offseason and if the early season is any indication, he looks like a bargain.

Connaughton came off the bench to score 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting in the Bucks' season opener against the Nets. He scored just six points in the following game against Miami, although his 27 minutes indicated that he was still an important piece of the rotation, while the backup guard bounced back from that subpar performance with another great game on Thursday, scoring 16 points in 37 minutes against the Spurs.

With Jrue Holiday listed as doubtful for tonight's game against the Pacers and Donte DiVincenzo still on the mend after ankle surgery, Connaughton should continue to get plenty of burn. Take the Over on his points total.

Pick: Pat Connaughton Over 9.5 points (-130 at DraftKings)

Damian Lillard might get most of the attention in Portland but it's his backcourt mate, C.J. McCollum, who is leading the team in scoring through the first two games of the season.

McCollum is averaging 31 ppg on 55.8-percent shooting and he's been red-hot from deep, going 6 for 11 from 3-point range both in the season opener against Sacramento and Saturday's matchup with Phoenix.

Tonight, McCollum and the Blazers head to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers, who are allowing opponents to shoot a league-high 44.8 percent from beyond the arc and convert 15 threes per game.

The Over 2.5 on McCollum's three-pointers made total is juiced at around -160 tonight, so we're backing him to hit at least four triples instead.

Pick: C.J. McCollum to make 4+ 3-pointers (+120 at PointsBet)
