Take your pick from the Sunday NBA menu with a feast of good games, including the 14-0 Cleveland Cavaliers in action and a battle for New York bragging rights at MSG.
We’ve also got Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder seeking payback against the Dallas Mavericks after their Western Conference semifinals loss back in May.
You can go in lots of different directions with the NBA player props market for the November 17 slate, but here are my top three NBA picks.
Best NBA player props today
- Coby White Over 3.5 threes (-105 at bet365)
- Jordan Poole Over 19.5 points (-115 at bet365)
- Darius Garland Over 29.5 points + assists (-115 at bet365)

NBA player props for November 17
Prop bet #1: Coby White Over 3.5 threes
The Chicago Bulls are already slipping down the Eastern Conference standings, but they’re among the frontrunners when it comes to serving up high-scoring, entertaining contests.
I’m looking at the Chicago sharpshooters to show up again tonight against the Houston Rockets, with Coby White as a standout prop pick.
White poured in 29 points on Friday in a loss to the Cavs, going 6-for-11 from 3-point range, and I’m wagering on him to bring more fireworks from downtown here.
As a high-volume gunner from beyond the arc, White has made at least four triples in seven of his past 10 contests. The efficiency has been steady too, with the Bulls guard posting a 39% mark from deep so far this season.
Against an undersized Houston backcourt, White should have no trouble getting his shot off here, and I’m taking the Over on 3.5 made triples.
Prop bet #2: Jordan Poole Over 19.5 points
It’s just baby steps at this point, but Jordan Poole is at least trending in a more positive direction with his play this season.
You wouldn’t know it from the Washington Wizards’ 2-9 record, but Poole is giving their offense some juice with 22.2 ppg this year.
He’s gone past the 20-point mark eight times, including 42 points against the San Antonio Spurs in midweek, and I’m picking him to add to that tally here despite facing an improved Detroit Pistons defense that’s tied for the seventh fewest points allowed per game.
The Wizards are a predictable mess defensively themselves, but that tends to drive high-scoring contests and their starting line-up is heavily reliant on Poole and Kyle Kuzma to create buckets.
That gives Poole a green light to let fly and he’s making his 3-pointers at a 44% clip.
Prop bet #3: Darius Garland Over 29.5 points + assists
The Cleveland Cavaliers go for 15-0 tonight against the Charlotte Hornets but they’ll be doing it without Donovan Mitchell, who’s sitting this one out.
That should prompt a stampede for Darius Garland props and I’m jumping on the Over for this points + assists combo prop.
Cleveland has found a perfect balance in the backcourt this year, but Garland gets full control of the car keys tonight.
He’s coming off a 29-point, nine-assist clinic against the Chicago Bulls on Friday, and I’m expecting him to go past his season average of 21 ppg here to bring the Over within reach.
The dimes part of this prop is arguably even steadier. Garland is dishing out 6.6 assists per game so far and you have to go back to November 1 for the last time he finished with fewer than five helpers.
The Hornets aren’t exactly known for elite perimeter defense, so buckle up for the Garland show in Charlotte tonight.
