So they meet again.

Just two days after locking horns in a memorable shootout, the Phoenix Suns are back at the Delta Center on Sunday to take on the Utah Jazz, wrapping up a two-game set.

The NBA odds have the hometown Jazz as 4.5-point underdogs, as Kevin Durant and Devin Booker hit all the right notes to win the opener.

Let’s look further into our free NBA picks and find a best bet for Suns vs. Jazz on Sunday, November 19.

Suns vs Jazz predictions

Perhaps it’s time to start considering Devin Booker as both a bucket-getter and a facilitator.

With the Suns going sans traditional point guard, Book has assumed the lead guard duties and hasn’t skipped a beat. He was particularly lethal in Phoenix’s 131-128 win over the Jazz last time out.

Booker failed to eclipse the 30-point plateau for the first time this season but he was still dealing, dishing an career-high 15 assists to go along with 24 points and four rebounds. He’s only been healthy enough to play four games for the Suns so far, but he’s averaging 10.3 assists per game — with at least eight dimes in all but one tilt — and 5.8 rebounds.

That hasn’t hampered his scoring output, as he’s still averaging 29.5 points per game while shooting 54.5% from the field and 48% from 3-point range. It's a small sample size, and the shooting splits are unlikely to be sustained, but those figures are currently all career-best marks.

Most importantly, Booker’s ascension and reclassification of his game has allowed co-star Kevin Durant to wreck defenses. KD is second in the league in scoring at 30.8 points per game on 52.9% shooting, adding 7.2 boards and 5.1 dimes.

Utah can match scoring with the Suns — both are tied for ninth in the NBA with 115.2 points per game, but the Jazz D is a sour note. They surrender 120.5 points per game, which is the fifth worst mark in the NBA. That presents a serious opportunity for Book.

With Bradley Beal’s back forcing him out of action again, Booker will do much of the heavy lifting with KD, and will do it at a high level.

It hasn’t been a problem so far, as Booker has topped his points-rebounds-assists total set at 40.5 on Sunday in three of four games, missing the fourth by a single point, rebound or assist. Look for him to deliver another gem.

My best bet: Devin Booker Over 40.5 points + rebounds + assists (-110 at DraftKings)

Suns vs Jazz same-game parlay

Devin Booker Over 40.5 points + rebounds + assists

Kevin Durant Over 37.5 points + rebounds

Over 237.5

It’s only fitting we add KD into this same-game parlay, since it’s he and Booker that are key to Phoenix trying to win their third straight.

Durant finished with 38 points on a crisp 15-for-22 shooting with nine boards and nine dimes last time out against the Jazz. He shot a blistering 6-for-8 from distance, his best 3-point effort of the season.

KD has gone for 30+ points in nine games this year, including his third in the last four.

What’s equally impressive, however, is that while Durant has been the Suns’ top scorer in four straight, he’s also been the team’s leading rebounder in that stretch, going for at least nine boards in three of those games.

He’s topped the 37.5 total for points and rebounds twice, while missing the mark in the other two by either a point or rebound in each. Expect him to be around that number again Sunday.

I’m working under the assumption that these two stars are going supernova, with Utah’s only hope to try and outscore their defensive effort. The result should be something close to what we saw on Friday night, with the Suns and Jazz wearing out the bulbs on the scoreboard.

Utah has cracked the Over in seven of their last 10 games, and so have the Suns.

Suns vs Jazz spread and Over/Under analysis

Most of the books are holding with Phoenix as a 4.5-point favorite, but if you’re liking the Jazz on the spread, you can catch them as high as 5.5-point underdogs at Caesars. The Suns are 3-2-1 against the spread on the road, while the Jazz are 4-2-0 ATS at the Delta Center.

As for the total, some books may have started at 236.5 points, but it’s been pretty consistent at 237.5. As always, you make sure you fish for the line best suited to your pick. There are some books offering a total 1.5 points higher at 239.
