All eyes were on Mac McClung on Saturday night, and the 6-foot-2 G League sensation has made NBA All-Star history, winning the Dunk Contest for the third year in a row.

Unsurprisingly, McClung was a -130 favorite heading into tonight's event in San Francisco.

Who won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest?

Update: Mac McClung has won the NBA Dunk Contest, defeating Stephon Castle with a perfect score of 50 on all four attempts.

2023 saw a 540-degree dunk, while last year included a one-handed slam over Shaquille O'Neal. This time around, McClung's highlights included a reverse dunk over the top of a car!

Here is some info on each competitor that took part in Saturday's festivities:

Mac McClung

McClung is looking to become the first-ever NBA Slam Dunk Contest competitor to win three straight crowns. His most memorable dunk last year was when he soared over the 7-foot-1 inch body of Shaquille O’Neal.

McClung has played in just one game for the Orlando Magic this season but he is a star on the franchise’s G League team, the Osceola Magic. He is averaging 21.1 points per game with the squad.

Matas Buzelis

Buzelis was drafted 11th overall by the Chicago Bulls in last year's NBA Draft. He played professionally for the NBA G League Ignite before being drafted.

The 6-foot-10 inch rookie is averaging 6.4 points per game so far this season with the Bulls.

Stephon Castle

Castle opened eyes during last year’s NCAA Tournament as he played a key role in UConn’s National title run. The 6-foot-6 guard is enjoying a fine rookie season with the Spurs as he is averaging 12.9 points per game.

Andre Jackson Jr.

Interestingly enough, the aforementioned Castle pretty much filled Jackson’s role at UConn when Jackson left for the NBA in 2023. Jackson was not as highly touted coming out of college as Castle but has maintained a decent role for the Bucks. The 6-foot-6 Jackson is averaging 3.9 points per game this season for Milwaukee.
