Opening line

Florida -17.5, Over/Under 55.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 11:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Florida is dropping like a rock this morning at PointsBet USA, down 2 points to -14.5 in the past hour or so, and down 3.5 points off the opening number of -18. PointsBet's Patrick Eichner said 65 percent of tickets and 55 percent of money are on Florida. Among today's games, this matchup is seeing the most action on a total, with 85 percent of tickets and money on the Over. The total has bounced from 55 to 59, then down to 56.5 this morning.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Florida opened -18 at PointsBet USA and spent a little time at -18.5, but the line is now down to Gators -16.5. However, 65 percent of tickets and money are on the Gators. And as is the case with a couple of key games this weekend, there's some interesting action on the total, which moved from 55 to 59 to 57. Eighty percent of tickets are on the Over, but 70 percent of cash is on the Under.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Florida opened -18.5 Sunday at DraftKings and ticked to 18 Tuesday. Ticket count is split 50/50 on the spread, but 60 percent of money is on underdog South Carolina. The total opened at 56 and shot to 59 Monday, then dipped to 57.5 Tuesday, thanks to 86 percent of tickets and 60 percent of cash on the Under, likely a sign of early sharp play.

---

Both the line and the total were on the move quickly at FanDuel. The Gators stretched to -19.5, although early point-spread betting was two-way, with 54 percent of tickets and 56 percent of dollars on Florida. The total is up 3 points to 58.5, and although there's surely not much money in the pot yet, the Over is taking 96 percent of tickets and 89 percent of money.

Opening line

North Carolina -11.5, Over/Under 54.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 3:20 P.M. ET SATURDAY: The SuperBook's Cameron Coombs said this line went from North Carolina -13.5 to -14.5, with most ot the liability on Tar Heels -13.5.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: North Carolina jumped from -11.5 to -13.5 Monday morning and stuck there through Wednesday at DraftKings. Ticket count is two-way, with 53 percent of bets on the Tar Heels, but 75 percent of money is flowing to North Carolina, hence the line move.

---

The Tar Heels initially dropped to -10.5 at FanDuel on Sunday, but by Monday had sprinted to -13.5, with 83 percent of bets and 88 percent of cash on North Carolina. The first move on the total was down to 53.5, and it went back to 54.5 Monday afternoon on two-way action: 54 percent of bets on the Over, 54 percent of money on the Under.

Opening line

Tennessee -10.5, Over/Under 48.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 11:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Tennessee moved from -10.5 to -12.5 at William Hill US by Thursday, but the line is down to -11 this morning. "We're dead even to it, surprisingly enough," William Hill US director of trading Nick Bogdanovich said.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Vols opened -10.5 and moved to -11.5 Monday at DraftKings, where the line remained through Wednesday. It's two-way play on this SEC clash, with Tennessee seeing 55 percent of tickets and 51 percent of money.

---

Tennessee was up to -11.5 Monday at FanDuel, but there's more early support for double-digit-'dog Missouri. The Vols were landing 62 percent of tickets, but the Tigers were attracting 66 percent of money.

Opening line

Clemson -27.5, Over/Under 55.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:10 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Virginia is actually taking sharp play at +28.5 at BetMGM Nevada books, which is why the line is Clemson -28 ahead of kickoff. "For straight bets, we need Clemson. But we'd rather Virginia cover to break up the parlays," BetMGM's Jeff Stoneback said. "Ticket count is 2.5/1 Clemson, money 3/2 for Virginia on straight bets. But there's a ton of parlay money on Clemson."

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Clemson opened -30 at DraftKings on Sunday and was down to -28 by Wednesday morning. The Tigers are drawing 55 percent of bets, but 58 percent of money is on big 'dog Virginia.

---

The Tigers toggled between -27.5 and -28.5 a few times at FanDuel on Sunday and Monday, ultimately settling at the opener Monday afternoon. It's two-way play early, with Clemson getting 51 percent of bets and 58 percent of money. And it appears there's some sharp play on the Under, with the total going from 55.5 to 54.5, despite nine of every 10 tickets and dollars on the Over.

Opening line

Oklahoma -8, Over/Under 62.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:10 P.M. ET SATURDAY: At BetMGM Nevada, the Sooners moved from -7.5 to -7, then back to -7.5. "We need Iowa State," BetMGM's Jeff Stoneback said. "It's 4/1 tickets and 6/1 money on Oklahoma."

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Oklahoma opened -8.5 at PointsBet USA and dipped to -6.5, then rebounded to -7.5 Friday afternoon. It's all Sooners on the spread, at 90 percent of tickets and handle. The total opened at 62.5, peaked at 64 and is now 63, and bettors are on the Over, which is landing 90 percent of early tickets and money.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Despite last week's shocking loss to Kansas State, the Sooners made a quick move from -7.5 to -8.5 at DraftKings. However, the line then dipped as low as -6.5 before settling at -7 early Wednesday. That said, this game is all Oklahoma early, with 93 percent of tickets and 94 percent of money on the Sooners.

---

The Sooners are still trying to get the license plate of the truck that ran them over last weekend, when they lost outright to Kansas State 38-35 as hefty 28-point home favorites. Perhaps not surprisingly, this line was already down to Oklahoma -6.5 Monday night, even though 95 percent of tickets and 77 percent of money were on the Sooners.

Opening line

Texas -13.5, Over/Under 60.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 11:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: At PointsBet USA, Texas is down to -10.5, from an opener of 13. The Longhors are getting 60 percent of point-spread tickets, but money is split 50/50. The total moved from 61 to 63, then down to 61.5, but 90 percent of tickets and money are on the Over.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: At PointsBet USA, Patrick Eichner said Texas opened -13 and is now down to -10.5, and the point-spread betting splits bear out that move. Texas is landing 55 percent of tickets, but 65 percent of the money is on Texas Christian. The total moved from 59.5 to a high point of 64 Tuesday and is now 62.5, with 90 percent of tickets and money on the Over.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: DraftKings opened the Longhorns -13.5 and was down to -11.5 by Wednesday evening, with some wild point-spread betting splits. Texas is taking 58 percent of bets, but Texas Christian is attracting 90 percent of the early money. The total shot from 59.5 to 64.5 late Tuesday, then dipped to 63 Wednesday, again on some rather intriguing splits that indicate sharp play on the Under: 93 percent of tickets are on the Over, but 51 percent of money is on the Under.

---

Texas dipped a full point to -12.5 late Monday night at FanDuel, but the betting splits don't really tell that story, as 73 percent of tickets and 97 percent of early cash were on the Longhorns. The first move on the total was from 60.5 to 61.5, also late Monday night.

Opening line

Alabama -16.5, Over/Under 53.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 3:20 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Shortly before kickoff, Alabama remains -18 at The SuperBook at Westgate, and that's where the line has been the past couple of days. "No shocker, the public is all over Alabama," SuperBook supervisor and oddsmaker Cameron Coombs said. "We've got straight bets and parlay liability." The book also needs the Under, with the total going fro 52 to 53.5.

UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SATURDAY: BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said Alabama went from -16.5 to -18, with ticket count of 2/1 and money about 3/1 on the Crimson Tide. "The public is definitely on Alabama, straight bets and parlays."

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: This line has bounced around all week at PointsBet USA, from Alabama -17 to -16.5, then up to -18 and now 17.5. "Sixty-five percent of spread tickets are on 'Bama, but handle is a 50/50 split," PointsBet's Patrick Eichner said. The total went from 53.5 to 51, then rebounded to 54 by Friday evening. "Seventy percent of bets on the Over, but heavy money on the Under, 70 percent of handle," Eichner said.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Alabama went from -17.5 to -16, then back to -17.5 by Wednesday afternoon at DraftKings. The Crimson Tide are attracting 69 percent of point-spread tickets, but 55 percent of dollars are on the underdog Aggies.

---

This line bounced around quite a bit Sunday and Monday at FanDuel, first to 'Bama -17.5, then down to -15.5, then back to the opener Monday evening. But it's all Crimson Tide on early action, with 84 percent of bets and 87 percent of money falling on the favorite. The Over was taking 71 percent of bets and 63 percent of money early, but the total dropped a point to 52.5.

Opening line

Kentucky -6.5, Over/Under 58.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 3:20 P.M. ET SATURDAY: The SuperBook's Cameron Coombs said there's not a lot of action as kickoff approaches, but Kentucky moved from -6 to -7 this week, and the book needs Mississippi.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: DraftKings hasn't moved off Kentucky -6.5 this week, and the action shows why: 56 percent of bets are on the Wildcats, and 52 percent of money is on the Rebels.

---

The line at FanDuel didn't move through Monday night, although Mississippi is attracting 72 percent of tickets and 66 percent of money in early spread betting. Conversely, the total was very much on the move, up 3 points to 61.5, with 90 percent of early bets and 99 percent of early money on the Over.

Opening line

Georgia -6.5, Over/Under 43.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:10 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Jeff Stoneback, director of trading for BetMGM Nevada, said the book still needs the favorite, shortly before kickoff. "We're at Georgia -7.5 (-105) right now. Ticket count is 2/1 on Auburn and money 3/2 on Auburn. Georgia is the need, on straight bets and parlays. There's almost 2/1 parlay action on Auburn."

UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SATURDAY: "We took sharp play at Auburn +7 at the beginning of the week, went to +7 (-120), and more people were taking Auburn, so we went to 6.5," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said. However, the line rebounded to Georgia -7.5 by Friday afternoon. "We're still a small loser to Auburn. It's 2/1 tickets and a little over 2/1 money." With a 7:30 p.m. ET kick and Georgia a public team, that could flip by day's end.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Georgia moved from -7 to -6.5 to -7.5 at PointsBet USA, on interesting betting splits: tickets are split 50/50, but 65 percent of spread money is on underdog Auburn. The total moved from 43 to 45, then to 44.5 Friday morning, again with some interesting splits: 65 percent of bets are on the Over, but 60 percent of money is on the Under.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The SuperBook at Westgate opened Georgia -7, moved to -7.5, then down to -6.5, all within about 12 hours Monday. "We got some sharp plays on Auburn +7.5 and +7," Superbook manager and oddsmaker Eric Osterman said.

---

The Bulldogs went to -7.5 for about an hour Monday at FanDuel, before reverting to the opening number. That dial-back was likely a product of early action favoring the visiting Tigers, who were taking 64 percent of bets and 74 percent of dollars. The total was up a point to 44.5 by Monday afternoon, with the Over tallying 87 percent of tickets and 84 percent of money.

Opening line

LSU -18.5, Over/Under 50.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:10 P.M. ET SATURDAY: "We have no decision. There's 46 more dollars on Vanderbilt than LSU," BetMGM Nevada's Jeff Stoneback said, noting the Tigers opened -20 and are at -21. "But we need Vanderbilt to cover, in order to beat the parlays."

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: This game has seen minimal movement at DraftKings, opening LSU -20.5 and ticking to 20 briefly on Wednesday afternoon, before going back to the opener. Ticket count and money are both running about 3/1 on the Tigers.

---

LSU went off as 14.5-point home chalk against Mississippi State and stunningly lost 44-34 in its season opener. But early bettors weren't shy about backing the Tigers, who moved to -20.5 at FanDuel on Monday and were drawing 86 percent of tickets and 90 percent of money on the spread. The total dropped 2 points Monday to 48.5.
