The hiring comes on the heels of two extremely positive coaching interviews and the former Michigan boss leaves the Wolverines on the heels of a National Championship winning season.
Harbaugh's desire to win the Super Bowl appears to have swayed the decision but the looming NCAA sanctions may have played a part as well.

The Los Angeles Chargers opened at +130 and have quickly been bet down to -250 on the heels of a solid interview with Harbaugh on Monday.
It would be a great situation to walk into given the pieces the Chargers already have in place with the likes of Justin Herbert, Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, and Josh Palmer.
Perhaps nobody would benefit more than the defense, which will need a big overhaul to get the team back on track and going in the right direction.

Not the head coach of an NFL team (+175)
After opening as the betting market favorite, this option has seen its odds drop given how well the interview went with the Chargers.
Jim Harbaugh led Michigan to its first National Championships since 1997. If he didn't already have a lifetime pass patrolling the Maize and Blue's sideline, he certainly does now.
And while I understand the competitive nature and eagerness of most to take the next step, Harbaugh appears happy in Ann Arbor.
He also appears to be lobbying for an unusual clause added to any potential Michigan offers:

Atlanta Falcons (+700)
The Atlanta Falcons are in the hunt for a new head coach after firing Arthur Smith the day after the season ended. Given their ability to land interviews with both Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh, the Falcons may be viewed as a solid destination.
Sure, the opportunity to work with and get the most out of Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and Drake London is appealing, but the Desmond Ridder/Taylor Heinicke QB duo just doesn't cut it at the NFL level.
I won't say never, but the Falcons at the price don't seem worthy of a flier.
