It’s a six-game slate tonight on the ice, and the line stacks are still cashing.

There are a ton of big plus-money line stacks in the NHL player props out there today and I'm hoping for a high-scoring slate.

These are my three favorite prop picks for Thursday, October 31.

Today’s NHL prop picks and best bets

Prop bet #1: Frank Vatrano + Mason McTavish Over 0.5 points each

+296 at DraftKings

With the current Anaheim Ducks lines, three sets of pairs correlate for 5-on-5 and PP1/PP2. Because the Ducks are coming off a 3-1 win over the brutal Islanders, the lines will 99% stay put for tonight’s game vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins who sit 29th in expected goals against/60 at all strengths. Like Montreal, they have a decent penalty kill. So at even strength, the Ducks have a very favorable matchup tonight.

But which line is the best to stack for the visitors tonight in Pittsburgh? I’m rolling with Frank Vatrano and Mason McTavish to both get a point for +296.

The pair started more shifts in the offensive zone last game than any other line and finished with two points each. The Gauthier/Zegras/Killorn line (and PP2) are a whopping +850 for a point each for you big-swingers, but McTavish/Vatrano is a great price for their role within this offense.

No team is giving up more goals per game than Pittsburgh at 4.27 per match while the goalie tandem of Joel Blomqvist and Alex Nedeljkovic might be the worst in the league. The Ducks can score in bunches tonight.

Prop bet #2: Alex Wennberg + Fabian Zetterlund Over 0.5 points each

+234 at DraftKings

The San Jose Sharks switched to a five-forward PP1 unit last game and enter tonight riding a two-game win streak. They are also a +125 home dog, which I don’t agree with as I think the line should be closer to +100/+105. That’s giving even more value to line stacks in San Jose.

The top line is always a great look, but the second line of Alex Wennberg and Fabian Zetterlund is paying a solid +234 for each skater to record a point vs. the Chicago Blackhawks, which has been one of the worst road teams in hockey over the last two seasons.

This is one of my favorite stacks today thanks to the price, and I’m also on the San Jose ML at +125. It could be a big game for the five guys on the Sharks’ top power play.

Prop bet #3: Connor McMichael Over 0.5 points

+110 at bet365

The Montreal Canadiens are coming off a game where they gave up eight goals to the Kraken and currently rank dead last in expected goals allowed/60 at all strengths despite having an average penalty kill. Now the underrated Washington Capitals host the struggling Habs, who have allowed 4+ goals in five of their last seven. Connor McMichael is going to find the score sheet tonight and is plus money for a point.

The second-line center found his way to PP1 last game with Dylan Strome moving down. McMichael is second on the team in points while the Washington offense has scored 4+ goals in five of its last seven games.

Montreal goalie Sam Montembeault is also 1-4 SU in his last five games with a .829 save percentage and a 5.51 GAA. Washington’s offense has a great matchup, and if their stale power play can get going, 5+ goals is very possible today.

The entire second line, which includes Tom Wilson and Pierre-Luc Dubois, is +460 all to get a point.
