10/30/2024: Auston Matthews only has four goals this season, but he's still a hefty favorite to bring home yet another Rocket Richard Trophy. We've seen AM34 close out seasons on a near 50-goal pace, and he's only five back of the league lead. Unless this slump goes deep into November, Matthews can catch up with relative ease — that's how good he is.

That's where we're at with Auston Matthews, who is levels above the competition. Barring a horridly slow start, I don't see AM34 losing his grip at the top this season.

7/30/2024: Auston Matthews opening as the favorite to win next year's Rocket Richard should come as a surprise to nobody. What is a bit surprising is neither Sam Reinhart nor Zach Hyman find themselves in the Top 5 after both scoring 50+ goals. Books think they may have been outliers, but only time will tell if they can replicate such success.
4/24/2024: Auston Matthews was so far ahead these odds were taken off the board a month before the season even ended. AM34 won't have to wait until June to found he's won, and all of his attention will now be on winning his team the Stanley Cup.
