The final weekend of the regular season ends with a nine-game slate and plenty of NHL player props to choose from.
In my NHL picks for Sunday, April 13, I’ll look for David Pastrnak to keep his multi-point streak alive, while I’ll also be banking on an underrated rookie in San Jose to continue his scoring ways.

Best NHL player prop bets for April 13
David Pastrnak Over 1.5 points (+172 at FanDuel)
The Boston Bruins have been out of the playoff mix for a while now, sitting dead last in the Eastern Conference, but that hasn’t stopped David Pastrnak from tearing it up on the score sheet.
Pasta leads all skaters with seven goals and 16 points in just six games this month, highlighted by a three-goal, five-point performance against the Carolina Hurricanes last Saturday.
The Bruins star has collected two or more points in four straight contests and should be able to rack up some points vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are also destined for an early summer.
Pastrnak has carried Boston’s offense singlehandedly this season with 102 points — 57 more than any other skater — while accounting for nearly 48% of his club’s goals.
Meanwhile, the Pens rank third-last in goals against per game (3.51) and fourth-last in team save percentage (.891).
Pastrnak loves playing against Pittsburgh too — he’s tallied multiple points vs. the Pens in five of his last six meetings.
Zach Werenski Over 0.5 points (-142 at FanDuel)
The Columbus Blue Jackets are the only team that can still catch the Montreal Canadiens for the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference, so tonight’s game against the Washington Capitals is a big one.
Zach Werenski has been stepping up at big moments all season for the Blue Jackets, and I expect him to find the score sheet against a Caps squad that could be resting some key players.
Werenski picked up a goal in the first half of Columbus’ back-to-back set against Washington yesterday and pushed his point streak to three games. The Blue Jackets blueliner has recorded a point in six of his last nine outings and has been all over the puck as he leads all skaters with 27 shots in April.
The Capitals have taken their foot off the gas pedal down the stretch as they locked in a playoff spot early, leading them to give up a whopping 4.75 goals per game over their last eight contests.
The Blue Jackets put up seven vs. the Caps yesterday, so Werenski should get in on the action again if a depleted Washington team lays another egg.
Will Smith anytime goalscorer (+275 at FanDuel)
If you’ve been keeping up with the Calder race for the NHL’s top rookie, you’ve heard names like Lane Hutson, Matvei Michkov, and Macklin Celebrini.
You might not have heard much about Celebrini’s teammate, Will Smith, but the 20-year-old has shown he’s just as talented as the rest of his rookie class.
Smith enters play on a four-game goal streak with five tallies and eight points over that span, and he’ll have a chance to extend his scoring run tonight vs. the Calgary Flames.
The Sharks rookie has 18 goals this season but didn’t find his groove until after the 4 Nations Face-Off Break. Since February 27, Smith co-leads all rookies in goals (10) and points (21) in 20 games.
The Flames are desperate for a win as they’re still in the race for a playoff spot, but have given up three or more goals in nine of their last 12 games.
The Sharks are bad, but we know they can score, having just put up seven against the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, and Smith is more than capable of leading the charge.
