My best bet: Ducks moneyline (+115 at BetMGM)
My analysis
It's the home finale for the Anaheim Ducks and the regular-season finale for the Colorado Avalanche tonight.
However, the Ducks are only playing the Avalanche in name alone as Colorado will be without several key pieces as it prepares for the playoffs.
Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar highlight several Avalanche players who did not join the team on their final road trip of the season. That resulted in a 5-4 loss in Los Angeles last night while the Ducks have had two days off after a loss in L.A. of their own.
Home ice has been kind to Anaheim this season. It's 21-17-2 at home this year and has won three straight games at Honda Center. In fact, Anaheim has won five of its last six on home ice with the lone loss coming by one goal to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Colorado is a respectable 22-17-1 on the road as opposed to 26-12-3 at home, but as mentioned above, tonight's lineup won't be the Avalanche you're used to.
Avalanche vs Ducks same-game parlay (SGP)
Trevor Zegras' return from injury earlier this year has helped spark the Ducks. After putting up just 10 points in his first 24 games before going down, he's recorded 21 points in his last 29 games. That includes 10 points in his last 11 games — a span in which he was held off the scoresheet thrice.
Troy Terry is one of the veteran pieces on the Ducks and isn’t afraid to shoot the puck. He has 180 shots in 74 games this season with 2+ SOG in 52 of 74 contests.
