The Stanley Cup Final is back up in Canada as the Edmonton Oilers are set to host the Florida Panthers for Game 6 at Rogers Place on Friday night. The Oilers are slight home favorites after winning back-to-back games to stay alive.
We’ve seen a few high-scoring games after a lower-scoring start to the series as Connor McDavid has taken over for Edmonton. Will that continue in Game 6? Read on for my NHL picks and Panthers vs. Oilers predictions for Game 6 on Friday, June 21.

Best Panthers vs Oilers SGP for Friday
The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers have combined for 24 goals (16-8 Edmonton) in the last three games, and I don’t see that changing here in Game 6. There may be a shift in who is scoring the most goals as the Cats look to finally close out the Stanley Cup Final, but the Oilers’ aggressiveness has paid off and, more importantly, opened up the ice for more scoring chances and goals in recent games.
Connor McDavid has been a man on a mission and setting records in the process. He’s totaled 10 points in the last three games with four points in each of the last two contests. In fact, McDavid has gone Over 1.5 points in six straight home games and has 25 points in 11 games at Rogers Place this postseason.
On the Panthers’ side of things, Sam Bennett has been flying under the radar as a pretty consistent contributor for the Cats. He has 14 points through 17 games and has been held off the scoresheet in just five of those 17 contests. The second-line center has recorded a point in seven of his last eight games and nine of his last 11 as well.
Expect another high-scoring affair in Game 6 as the Panthers look to hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup for the first time.
