Wolves vs Crystal Palace Predictions & Picks for Saturday's EPL Matchup

Crystal Palace just took down Tottenham last week, and they'll have no trouble taking at least a point against Wolves.

With both teams stuck in the relegation zone after nine rounds, this could prove a big game for what will follow in the Premier League race for survival.

Crystal Palace beat Tottenham last week, and my Wolves vs. Crystal palace predictions expect them to continue that momentum against an inferior opponent.

EPL predictions for Wolves vs Crystal Palace

My best bet:
Crystal Palace to win or draw (-193 at TonyBet)

My analysis
Palace have a strong case for themselves as they visit the Molineux on Saturday evening. The South Londoners won seven of their last eight games against Wolves in all competitions, meaning they beat much stronger versions of Wolves.

Standing on six points after nine matches, Palace showed there's life in the team even during many of the games they've lost. They should feel a bit unlucky when they analyze what went wrong so far.

Wolves haven't managed to win since the start of the campaign and only won two points from away draws in Nottingham and Brighton. Last weekend, they pulled one of the biggest comebacks of the season to leave Brighton with a point.

Wolves hope to fuel themselves with fresh energy, but they've been letting goals go past them way too easily, and the problem is still unsolved.

There have been at least two goals scored against Wolves in their last six Premier League matches. They still like a fast break and hope to hit Palace on a counter, but the visitors look equipped to handle it.

I'll go for a Palace win or draw at -193 via TonyBet, but the simple draw option at +245 looks well enough for those who are looking for extra juice.

Wolves vs Crystal Palace same-game parlay (SGP)

Crystal Palace to win or draw

Over 5.5 cards

Over 9.5 corners

This is going to be a tough relegation battle, so the probability of hard duels all over the pitch is high. Top English referee Anthony Taylor will take charge in this match, and he's not the type to turn his eyes away when he sees players going hard on each other.

Thus, the probability for bookings is higher than average. Taylor showed four bookings in the Arsenal v Liverpool clash last week but had no issues holding up eight yellow cards and a red during the Southampton v Leicester game a matchday before. The profile of that encounter is pretty much similar to Wolves v Palace, so we can expect more of the same.

There are high chances for a close match between Wolves and Palace, so set pieces should play a key role. Adding a reachable over 9.5 corners to the parlay gets us to a nice +359 return. Crystal Palace had 48 corners so far this season, averaging 5.33, while Wolves recorded 31, averaging 3.44. Getting a green tick on corners looks likely.
