Francisco Mejia snapped a tie game with a three-run home run to right field in the ninth inning as the Tampa Bay Rays defeated the host Philadelphia Phillies 7-4 on Wednesday.
Brandon Lowe also homered for the red-hot Rays, who swept this two-game series and have won eight of nine.
Wander Franco ripped three hits while Joey Wendle, Yandy Diaz and Mejia each had two hits for the Rays.
Rays starter Ryan Yarbrough allowed five hits and two runs in four-plus innings with no strikeouts and two walks. He threw only 55 pitches.
Collin McHugh (5-1) earned the win in relief.
Bryce Harper homered, singled and drove in two runs, and Rhys Hoskins also hit a home run for the Phillies. Ronald Torreyes and Andrew McCutchen had two hits apiece.
Phillies starter Zack Wheeler (10-9) gave up 10 hits and seven runs, five earned, with 10 strikeouts and no walks in eight-plus innings. It was Wheeler's seventh game with at least 10 strikeouts this season.
The Phillies loaded the bases with no outs in the second inning, and Luke Williams grounded into a 5-4-3 double play to take a 1-0 lead.
The Rays were held without a hit through the first three innings. Franco opened the fourth with a double to right and extended his on-base streak to 26 straight games. Wendle then lofted a fly ball to left, but McCutchen dropped it, allowing Franco to score the tying run.
One out later, Diaz hit an RBI single to right and the Rays went ahead 2-1.
In the fifth, Lowe crushed a solo homer, his 30th home run of the season, as the Rays took a 3-1 lead.
Harper tied the game at 3 in the bottom of the fifth with a two-run home run to center off Shawn Armstrong.
Tampa Bay moved ahead 4-3 in the eighth when Randy Arozarena hit an RBI groundout.
Hoskins tied the game at 4 in the eighth with a solo homer to left off McHugh.
