New York @ Baltimore preview
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Last Meeting ( Aug 14, 2018 ) NY Mets 3, Baltimore 6
Zack Wheeler endured a span of more than two months without a victory, but he has followed a 13-start winless drought with a superb stretch. Wheeler will look to win his sixth consecutive start and help the New York Mets avoid a season sweep at the hands of the host Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night in the finale of a two-game interleague series.
Wheeler blanked the Orioles on three hits over seven innings on June 6 but had to settle for a no-decision in a 1-0 setback to Dylan Bundy, who will look to beat New York for the second time this season. The Mets have scored only four runs in losing all three matchups to Baltimore, which owns the worst record in the majors. Adam Jones and Chris Davis clubbed back-to-back homers and Tim Beckham added a two-run shot as the Orioles snapped a five-game slide with Tuesday's 6-3 victory. Jones and Davis hit back-to-back homers for the 43rd time, the most in the majors among active players.

Mark Trumbo is 1-for-6 against Wheeler, who owns a 4-1 record with a 3.66 ERA in 10 starts away from home.
Bundy followed his start versus the Mets with eight scoreless frames against Boston, but he has permitted at least four runs in five of his eight subsequent starts. Jose Bautista and Todd Frazier are each 0-for-8 versus Bundy.
