PORTLAND, Ore. -- Blake Griffin hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the undefeated Los Angeles Clippers to a 104-103 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night at Moda Center.
The Clippers had five double-digit scorers, led by Griffin with 25 points. Center DeAndre Jordan grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds to go with seven points.
Guard Damian Lillard led five Blazers in double figures with 25 points. Guard CJ McCollum had 23, and forward Al-Farouq Aminu added 19.
The Clippers improved to 4-0, capturing their first game outside of Los Angeles.
The Blazers fell to 3-2 overall and 1-1 at home.
Center Jusuf Nurkic's spin move and basket in the left post gave Portland a 100-99 lead with 1:20 remaining.
Griffin drove on Nurkic for a 101-100 Los Angeles lead on the next possession.
McCollum hit a midrange jumper from the right side, putting the Blazers in front 102-101 with 43.1 seconds left.
The Clippers misfired but got the offensive rebound and an inbound opportunity with 20.3 seconds to play. Lillard was called for a foul on guard Austin Rivers' drive with 6.7 seconds remaining, but the call was changed to an offensive foul after an officials' review.
A quick foul put McCollum at the free-throw line, and he sank one of two shots with 5.9 seconds to go.
The Clippers called a timeout to inbound at midcourt. They went to Griffin, who had time only for a quick dribble and shot from just beyond the arc, which went through cleanly.
The Clippers' next game is Saturday at home against the Detroit Pistons. The Blazers will play host to the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
NOTES: Portland PG Damian Lillard and Los Angeles PG Patrick Beverley have had their contentious moments, but Blazers coach Terry Stotts called it a "healthy competition. Both guys want to get the better of the other, but I don't think there's any acrimony." ... Blazers C Jusuf Nurkic struggled offensively in the first four games. "Basically, he hasn't been finishing around the basket and his turnovers are up a little, but it's a small sample size," Stotts said. Nurkic had 12 points and eight rebounds Thursday. ... Portland was without C Meyers Leonard (sprained ankle) ... Clippers coach Doc Rivers said before the game he wanted to avoid having his backcourt starters, Austin Rivers and Beverley, play big minutes. However, they wound up at 35 and 34 minutes, respectively.
