Serge Ibaka scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and the visiting Toronto Raptors defeated the Chicago Bulls 124-101 Saturday night.
Fred VanVleet also scored 23 points for the Raptors, who have won nine in a row over the Bulls, including all four meetings between the teams this season. The teams were meeting for the second time in five days.
Marc Gasol finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Toronto. Norman Powell had 15 points, Jodie Meeks chipped in with 14 points, Jeremy Lin had 12 and Kyle Lowry had 10 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot scored 18 points and added 10 rebounds for the Bulls. Walter Lemon Jr. notched 19 points, Shaquille Harrison scored 15 and Antonio Blakeney contributed 12 points.
The Raptors led by as many as 24 points in the third quarter as they gained control in the second quarter and took an 18-point advantage into the fourth quarter.
Ibaka's 3-pointer bumped the Toronto lead back to 20 points with 7:55 to go. Powell's 3-pointer stretched the lead to 25 with 1:14 to play.
The Bulls led 28-26 after the first quarter, holding the Raptors to 33 percent shooting from the field.
The Raptors jumped to a 12-point lead after VanVleet's layup with 4:36 remaining in the first half.
Meeks made a 3-pointer with three minutes left, and the Raptors led by 17.
The Raptors led 67-56 at halftime, led by 15 points from VanVleet. Luwawu-Cabarrot had 11 first-half points for Chicago.
Gasol opened the third quarter with a 3-pointer that started a 10-2 Raptors run that produced a 77-58 lead.
VanVleet's 3-pointer with 4:02 remaining in the third increased the lead to 24.
Toronto led 93-75 after three quarters.
The Raptors were without OG Anunoby (concussion-like symptoms), Kawhi Leonard (personal) and Patrick McCaw (right thumb).
The Bulls continue to be without Kris Dunn (back), Zach LaVine (thigh contusion and patellar tendinitis), Lauri Markkanen (medical assessment) and Otto Porter Jr. (shoulder strain).
