Last Meeting ( Nov 19, 2019 ) Phoenix 116, Sacramento 120

A pair of teams sinking toward the bottom of the Western Conference look to end their respective losing streaks when the Phoenix Suns visit the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. The Kings have dropped five in a row after a 105-104 loss to Minnesota in double overtime Thursday night.

Both guard De'Aaron Fox (back) and forward Marvin Bagley III (foot) left the contest and could leave Sacramento shorthanded entering the finale of a three-game homestand, particularly with Bagley scheduled to see a foot specialist. The Suns' slide is at eight in a row after a 105-96 loss at Golden State on Friday in which they were outscored by 21 points in the fourth quarter. Devin Booker scored 34 points on 13-of-24 shooting but also committed eight of Phoenix's season-high 27 turnovers. Phoenix, which was opening a four-game road trip, has dropped four straight away from home after opening 5-4 on the road.

TV: 9 p.m. ET, FS Arizona (Phoenix), NBCS California (Sacramento)

ABOUT THE SUNS (11-20): Booker was limited to 11 points in a loss to Denver on Monday but had 17 in the first half at Golden State as Phoenix built an eight-point lead at the break. Fellow guard Ricky Rubio finished with 11 points at the Warriors while missing all four of his 3-point tries and turning it over seven times. Center Deandre Ayton missed his fourth straight game with an ankle injury and remains day-to-day.

ABOUT THE KINGS (12-19): Leading scorer Buddy Hield was 6-of-20 from the floor in Thursday's loss, including a missed 3-pointer before the buzzer, and has been benched for portions of the stretch run in recent games. "There are some trust issues going on, I guess," Hield told reporters. "Guys are now starting not to believe in players. It is what it is. They have who they have out there and I've got to be supportive. I am a team-first guy no matter what." An easy guy to support is forward Richaun Holmes, who notched his third straight double-double with 20 points and 18 rebounds Thursday.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Holmes is averaging 17.5 points on 67.4 percent shooting and 13 rebounds over his last four games.

2. Suns SF Kelly Oubre Jr. was held to six points - more than 11 below his season average - in Friday's loss and is 1-for-14 from 3-point range over his last three games.

3. The home team has won each of the first two meetings this season.

PREDICTION: Kings 117, Suns 108
