Last Meeting ( Mar 1, 2019 ) L.A. Clippers 116, Sacramento 109

The Los Angeles Clippers look to win in Sacramento for the 14th consecutive time when they visit the Kings on Tuesday. Los Angeles hasn't lost a game in California's capital city since falling 116-101 on March 19, 2013.

The Clippers also have won nine straight overall games against the Kings after sweeping last season's four meetings. Sacramento enters this contest in the midst of a deep slump that has seen it lose a season-worst seven consecutive games following Sunday's 120-115 road loss to the Denver Nuggets. Los Angeles suffered a 120-107 home loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday in a contest in which Montrezl Harrell sat out with the flu while Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were also hampered by the illness. "I felt fine coming here," George, who scored 20 points on 6-of-20 shooting, told reporters. "Honestly, it just came out of nowhere, just a weird feeling. Body was cramping, tightening up. I was trying to leave everything out there, but honestly there was nothing in there for me to leave."

TV: 5 p.m. ET, Prime Ticket (Los Angeles), NBCS California (Sacramento)

ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (23-11): Feisty point guard Patrick Beverley (wrist) is in danger of missing the contest after being injured against the Jazz but X-rays determined that he didn't break a bone. "We knew there was no break, but that doesn't mean he is going to be out or not," Clippers coach Doc Rivers told reporters. "It could be a bruise, it could be anything. He clearly felt like he could not even grab the ball, so that is not a good sign." Los Angeles is expecting Harrell to be available while hoping Leonard (19 points on 6-of-24 shooting versus Utah) and George are also over the bug.

ABOUT THE KINGS (12-21): Point guard De'Aaron Fox (back) returned against Denver after a one-game absence and had a solid game with 18 points and a season-best 13 assists. "I felt all right," Fox told reporters. "I felt obligated to go out and do what I need to do. It doesn't matter that I was in pain." Sacramento is allowing an average of 114 points during its losing skid, prompting shooting guard Buddy Hield to say after the Denver loss: "We didn't keep the man we were guarding in front of us. This is the way we've played the past seven games."

BUZZER BEATERS

1. The Kings last defeated the Clippers 98-97 in Los Angeles on March 26, 2017.

2. Clippers reserve G Lou Williams is 13-of-40 shooting over the past three games.

3. Sacramento PF Nemanja Bjelica scored 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting against Denver for his second-highest output of the season.
