Zyon Pullin scored a team-high 22 points as Florida outlasted Michigan 106-101 to record a wild double-overtime victory in a nonconference game at the Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday night.
Florida (8-3) has won four straight games, while Michigan (6-6) had a two-game winning streak come to an end.
The Gators raced off to an 11-0 run that began with just under four minutes left in the second overtime to pull away to their biggest lead of the night at 102-93.
Terrance Williams II hit a 3-pointer to bring the Wolverines within 105-101 with 18 seconds remaining, but Florida sealed the victory at the free-throw line.
Michigan's Olivier Nkamhoua had a key block with 31 seconds left in the first overtime to protect a one-point lead, and Dug McDaniel then hit a pair of free throws to give the Wolverines an 89-86 edge.
However, Pullin hit a 3-pointer with eight seconds to go to tie it at 89-89 and send the game to another extra session.
At the end of the second half, Will Richard converted a three-point play with 59 seconds left to put Florida up 81-77, but Nimari Burnett cut the lead to two on a jumper with 33 seconds remaining.
Nkamhoua slammed home a McDaniel miss to tie it at 81-81 with 12 seconds left, and Florida's Alex Condon missed a 3-pointer as time ran out in regulation.
Tyrese Samuel added 21 points for Florida, which got 17 from Richard, 14 from Condon and 12 from Walter Clayton Jr.
All five Michigan starters scored in double figures, led by McDaniel's game-high 33 points. Nkamhoua had 24, Williams posted 17, Tarris Reed Jr. supplied 14 and Burnett contributed 10 for the Wolverines. Nkamhoua added 11 boards.
Florida held a narrow 38-37 lead at the break after scoring 16 of the final 25 points of the first half.
