Another big run propelled Ohio State to victory as the Buckeyes overwhelmed William & Mary 97-62 on Saturday afternoon at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
The Buckeyes trailed by one with 12:28 to go in the first half but outscored the Tribe 27-4 to take a 46-24 lead with 1:27 left.
On Monday, the Buckeyes (8-3) used a 26-3 spurt to erase a 20-point deficit in a come-from-behind win over Michigan.
Ohio State shot 64 percent from the floor, including 11 of 21 from 3-point range.
Keita Bates-Diop was 7-for-7 in the second half and had a game-high 27 points for the Buckeyes. Kaleb Wesson scored 17 points, and C.J. Jackson added 16 for Ohio State.
Ohio State pushed its lead to 25 on a 14-3 run early in the second half and to 40 with 4:49 to go after a 16-0 run.
David Cohn led William & Mary with 15 points, and Nathan Knight added 13 before fouling out.
The Tribe (6-3) had won five straight games.
William & Mary missed 11 of 13 shots during a 10-minute stretch before finishing the first half by making three in a row to cut the Buckeyes' lead to 48-32.
The Buckeyes forced four turnovers and held William & Mary scoreless for more than five minutes during a 20-2 run.
Bates-Diop's jumper with 4:10 left in the half gave Ohio State a 39-22 lead.
The Tribe, which made eight of 10 shots to start the game, missed six straight shots during the Ohio State run.
Ohio State was 13-for-16 from inside the arc and shot 69.2 percent in the first half.
