Florida was preseason No. 6 but was out of the rankings by the first week of December due to losses to Florida State, Connecticut and Butler. The Gators still have high hopes for the season, however, sitting comfortably in the NET at 38, and seek a fourth win in five games when Vanderbilt visits Saturday.

Andrew Nembhard had 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting to go along with five assists, while fellow sophomore Noah Locke dropped five 3-pointers on his way to a season-best 21 points. "It's a huge win for us, especially being at an away site," Nembhard said. "These are do-or-die moments coming up. We have to string together some wins if we're going to accomplish what we want do this season." Vanderbilt played No. 12 Kentucky tough Tuesday well into the second half before dropping its 11th game in the last 12 in the 78-64 loss. In the first matchup this year between Vanderbilt and Florida, the Gators got 20 points from sophomore Keyontae Johnson and 17 - along with five 3-pointers - from Locke in a 61-55 road win on Feb. 1.
