Montreal paid a price for its victory, losing running back Brandon Whitaker to what appeared to be a strained hamstring midway through the third quarter. Backup running back Jerome Messam ran for 61 yards in place of Whitaker, while the Argonauts’ offence was limited to 58 yards on the ground.
