Argonauts 33, Stampeders 27: Zach Collaros threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns while Jerious Norwood recorded 135 yards from scrimmage to lead Toronto to its fifth straight road victory.
Collaros completed 25-of-36 passes, connecting with slotback Andre Durie and receivers Dontrelle Inman, John Chiles and Mike Bradwell for scores for the Argonauts (8-4), who will complete a four-game road trip in Edmonton next week. Defensive back Pat Watkins recorded two interceptions.
Kevin Glenn got the start at quarterback for Calgary (9-3) and was 22-of-33 for 225 yards with touchdown tosses to Marquay McDaniel and Jabari Arthur. Defensive lineman Charleston Hughes and linebacker Juwan Simpson each registered a sack and forced a fumble, while Jon Cornish rushed for 81 yards on 16 carries.
Watkins’ second interception broke up a touchdown-pass attempt by Glenn 6:55 into the third quarter and led to a 40-yard field goal by Swayze Waters that tied the contest at 25-25. Collaros found Bradwell for a 34-yard score with 8:03 remaining in the fourth to give Toronto the lead.
Stampeders quarterback Drew Tate made his first appearance since Week 2, rushing for six yards - including a 1-yard touchdown - on two carries, but did not attempt a pass. Brad Sinopoli appeared to tie the game with a 67-yard reception with 2:40 remaining in the fourth quarter, but Arthur was called for offensive pass interference, negating the play.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Glenn had not thrown an interception since Week 3. … Chiles has eight touchdown catches in his last eight games. … Calgary lost at home for the first time in 11 contests, falling to 5-1 at McMahon Stadium this season.
