Tiger-Cats 24, Argonauts 18: Quarterback Henry Burris threw for 350 yards as host Hamilton completed a home-and-home sweep to move within two points of East Division leading Toronto.
Wide receiver Luke Tasker caught seven passes for 113 yards, while running back C.J. Gable ran for 118 yards and a touchdown for the Tiger-Cats (8-7), who improved to 6-1 against divisional opponents. Burris was 27-for-36 and Gable added five receptions for 46 yards.

Gable capped the opening drive of the second half with a 2-yard touchdown dash. Toronto pulled within eight points with 8:17 remaining on a 12-yard toss from Ray to Barnes, but Ray threw his first interception of the season on a pass into the end zone as a crucial Argonauts' drive stalled at Hamilton’s 37-yard line with 1:19 to play, allowing the Tiger-Cats to run out the clock on the following possession.
A pair of 1-yard touchdown runs by Hamilton backup quarterback Dan LeFevour staked the Tiger-Cats to a 15-point lead midway through the second quarter. Toronto defensive back Ricardo Colclough returned an interception 37 yards to set up Ray’s 32-yard touchdown pass to Watt with 1:19 remaining in the first half to trim the deficit.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Burris pulled within 477 passing yards of his third career (and second consecutive) 5,000-yard season. … Toronto was limited to 46 total rushing yards without running back Chad Kackert, who missed the game with a shoulder injury. … If the teams are tied at the end of the regular season, Hamilton holds the tiebreaker with a 2-1 season series advantage.
