Collaros didn’t complete a pass in the first quarter, allowing the Argonauts to take a 15-0 lead, but led the Tiger-Cats to 21 straight points starting with a 50-yard touchdown pass to Tasker 7:25 into the second quarter. Collaros found Giguere for a 43-yard score and Banks for 27 yards in the third quarter, but a 1-yard run by Gale put Toronto back in front with 5:17 remaining.
Gale’s touchdown was aided by an offside penalty against Hamilton, which was flagged 12 times for 117 yards. Justin Medlock hit a 45-yard field goal to bring the Tiger-Cats within a point and a wide field goal attempt by Swayze Waters kept Hamilton’s hopes alive, but Collaros was sacked on the final play.
