Last Meeting ( Nov 15, 2015 ) Minnesota 30, Oakland 14

The Minnesota Vikings hope for another strong rushing performance as they aim for their second win in as many home games when they host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Minnesota is tied for second in the NFL with an average of 185 yards on the ground through two games while Dalvin Cook tops the league with 265 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Cook gained a career-high 154 yards on 20 carries and finished with 191 scrimmage yards in last week's 21-16 loss at Green Bay. Included in those totals is a 75-yard touchdown run - the longest of his career - which helped give him his second 100-yard rushing performance of the young season. The Raiders posted a surprising 24-16 triumph over Denver in their season opener and came out strong against Kansas City last week, scoring the game's first 10 points before suffering a 28-10 loss. Oakland, which plays four of its next five games on the road, has not visited Minnesota since posting a 27-21 victory on Nov. 20, 2011.

TV: 1 p.m. ET, FOX. LINE: Vikings -9. O/U: 43.5

ABOUT THE RAIDERS (1-1): Richie Incognito is expected to make his debut with Oakland after completing his two-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy and hopes to move on from his checkered past. "The suspension is behind me, everything, all the negative stuff is behind me, just eyes forward," the veteran guard told the team's website. "Staying positive, relishing the opportunity, which I think is big, really enjoying every day in here because you don't know how many more you're going to have, and wanting to play well. ... Just really want to charge forward and make it right." Josh Jacobs leads all NFL rookies with 184 rushing yards - including 99 last week - and two touchdown runs.

ABOUT THE VIKINGS (1-1): Harrison Smith had a strong game against Green Bay, making six tackles - including one for a loss - and recovering a fumble he also forced. The 30-year-old is the only defensive back in the league with at least 15 interceptions (15) and 10 sacks (11) since 2014. The receiving trio of Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs and Kyle Rudolph has recorded only 14 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns thus far this season.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Oakland acquired WR Trevor Davis from Green Bay for an undisclosed 2020 draft pick and waived DB Juston Burris.

2. Diggs has made a touchdown catch in four of his last five contests.

3. Oakland released G Jonathan Cooper as a result of Incognito's return.

PREDICTION: Vikings 34, Raiders 20
