Last Meeting ( Nov 22, 2015 ) Cincinnati 31, Arizona 34

The Arizona Cardinals will have heavy hearts when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday for a battle between a pair of winless teams. Arizona is mourning the loss of Bill Bidwill, who had been sole owner of the team since 1972 but a part of the franchise since his father purchased it 40 years earlier.

Bidwill passed away at the age of 88 on Wednesday - three days after the Cardinals suffered a 27-10 home loss to Seattle. Kyler Murray, the first overall pick in this year's draft, failed to throw a score but recorded his first career rushing touchdown as Arizona lost its third straight contest after opening the season with a tie against Detroit. Cincinnati, which also has yet to taste victory, is coming off a 27-3 drubbing at Pittsburgh in which it allowed 27 unanswered points. Andy Dalton is eager to forget his performance against the Steelers as he threw an interception, fumbled twice and was sacked a career-high eight times while passing for only 171 yards.

TV: 1 p.m. ET, FOX. LINE: Bengals -3. O/U: 47

ABOUT THE CARDINALS (0-3-1): Larry Fitzgerald had five receptions against Seattle to increase his career total to 1,326 and move past Hall-of-Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez for second place on the all-time list. The 36-year-old has made five catches in each of his last three games but could be targeted more this week with fellow wide receiver Christian Kirk sidelined with an ankle injury. Kirk, who leads the team with 24 receptions, hauled in four passes for 37 yards versus the Seahawks before exiting but could return as early as next week.

ABOUT THE BENGALS (0-4): Joe Mixon rushed for a season-high 62 yards against Pittsburgh but could reach triple digits for the first time in 2019 as he faces the league's 31st-ranked defense (417.5 yards allowed per game) that has allowed three opposing running backs to gain 100 yards already this campaign. The 23-year-old hit the century mark in three of his final four games last season and four times overall. Tyler Boyd made three catches for 33 yards in Week 4 and could see his workload increase against Arizona with A.J. Green (ankle) and John Ross (shoulder) out due to injuries.

EXTRA POINTS

1. The Bengals placed Ross on injured reserve and added fellow WR Stanley Morgan from the practice squad.

2. Arizona signed DL Zach Kerr and WR Pharoh Cooper while releasing S D.J. Swearinger and DT Miles Brown, who was re-signed to the practice squad.

3. Cincinnati G Alex Richmond returned to the team after serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy but has yet to be activated.

PREDICTION: Bengals 27, Cardinals 17
