Since grading the best Las Vegas sportsbooks there has been one question that’s come up often. “Where are the best places to eat near a sportsbook?” We only scratched the surface on the food and drink options for the listed sportsbook overviews.
Today I'll break down places to get food in and around sportsbooks all over Las Vegas. This isn't a comprehensive list but it should suffice for 99.9% of visitors to Sin City.
Sportsbook/Bar/Restaurants
There are a couple of sports bar, restaurants, and sportsbooks where you never have to leave the room to eat, drink or gamble. While not always required, you will often be expected to spend money on the bar/restaurant when visiting. Reservations should be made for popular events like football games. There might be a minimum spend requirement for busy days and nights.
Lagasse's Stadium (Palazzo)
Umami Burger (SLS)
Restaurants With A View
These sportsbooks have a place to eat where you’ll still have a view of the games in the sportsbook. You'll still be able to watch the games from these sportsbooks while grabbing a bite.
The Mirage - California Pizza Kitchen
Red Rock Casino - Gridiron Grill
Westgate - Food Court
Wynn - Charlie's Bar & Grill
Hot Dogs!
There are a handful of sportsbooks that have a hot dog cart if you just want a quick inexpensive bite to bring back to your seat.
South Point
Boyd gaming properties (Gold Coast, etc.)
Take Out Restaurants
Just about every sportsbook has restaurants with takeout options within a 30-second to one-minute walk. You'll have to leave the sportsbook to get food. These are some of the best options to grab a bite to eat back in the sportsbook.
Bally's (Food Court)
Cosmopolitan (The Henry will deliver to sportsbook)
Caesars Palace (Food Court)
The Cromwell
Green Valley Ranch
Harrah’s (Food Court)
Mandalay Bay
MGM Grand
Mirage
Palms (Food Court)
Palace Station
Planet Hollywood
Red Rock (Food Court)
Treasure Island
The Venetian (Food Court)
IMO
Here are some of my favorite takeout options when I’m in a sportsbook.
The Mirage - LVB Burger and Carnegie Deli both have a good variety of appetizers, sharables, and sandwiches. There’s also a Starbucks nearby in case you need coffee.
Planet Hollywood - Earl Of Sandwich is one of my favorite sandwich chains and it's across from the sportsbook. You can also grab a giant slice from Pin-Up Pizza if you prefer a slice.
Red Rock - I’m biased because I’m at this casino often. The food court has a great variety of food for any mood. I'm a fan of Capriotti's, Fatburger, and Tropical Smoothie. Please avoid Panda Express. The people sitting near you will be grateful.
South Point - $1.50 dogs and some of the best betting in Las Vegas. 'Nuff said.
The Venetian - The food court has every kind of food which is nice. I particularly like this food court for a quick breakfast. Illy Coffee is my favorite mass produced coffee and a great way to start the day.
