Week 19 in the CFL kicks off on Friday night with a showdown between the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Winnipeg has been red-hot and my Argonauts vs. Blue Bombers predictions are betting on their offense to keep rolling this week.

My analysis
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have won eight games in a row and while their defense is getting much of the credit, their offense is also doing it's part with 387.6 yards and 30.6 points per game during that span.
Brady Oliveira is the top running back in the CFL, rushing for a league-high 1,254 yards while adding another 424 receiving yards. After an ugly start to the year, superstar quarterback Zach Collaros has also been more efficient in recent weeks, which is largely due to an improving offensive line.
Through the first eight weeks of the season, Winnipeg's offensive line had the second-lowest grade in the league according to PFF. That unit has since climbed all the way up to No. 3 in the rankings and is coming off its best performance of the year.
Now the Bombers face a Toronto Argonauts defense that has allowed more than 30 points in four of it's last five games and ranks second-last in the league in opponent pass efficiency (103.4). The Argos recently got back key defenders Wynton McManis and Jared Brinkman after lengthy absences, but that was offset by injuries to Jonathan Jones, Fraser Sopik, and Quincy Mauger.
One factor that had me hesitant to make this bet was the questionable status of Winnipeg's top two receivers in Nic Demski and Ontaria Wilson. However, head coach Mike O'Shea has a tendency to be secretive with injury reports, and both players were full participants in Wednesday's practice, so expect them to suit up and help the Bombers eclipse their team total.

After a few years in the NFL, Chris Streveler returned as Winnipeg's short yardage QB this season and rushed for 10 touchdowns in 13 games. Streveler is done for the year after suffering a brutal knee injury but Wilson has stepped into his role and punched in a pair of scores on six carries last week.
Chad Kelly has opened up the Argos offense, throwing for 1,917 yards through six games. Despite racking up yards through the air, he has thrown for more than 1.5 touchdowns in just one game. He'll have an even tougher time in the red zone against an elite Bombers defense that allows the fewest passing yards per game (234.6) and has the lowest opponent pass efficiency (83.8).
