Week 15 in the CFL wraps up on Saturday night with a clash between the Ottawa Redblacks and the BC Lions. The Redblacks will try to snap a six-game losing streak, but it won't be easy against the Lions, who are fresh off a bye and have the third-best record in the league.
CFL betting lines opened with the Leos as 9.5-point home favorites before that number ticked up to -10. Here are my best free CFL picks for Redblacks vs. Lions on September 16.

Redblacks vs Lions picks and predictions
Just when it looked like the Ottawa Redblacks had turned things around under rookie quarterback Dustin Crum, they are right back to being the worst team in the East after dropping six games in a row.
Crum's play has plateaued, but the primary reason they've been getting tuned up has been the play of their defense, especially in the back end. The Redblacks are last in the league in passing yards allowed per game (325.8) and yards allowed per pass attempt (10.4) while ranking second-last in opponent pass efficiency rating (102.2).
They've been even worse lately, surrendering more than 300 yards through the air in each of their last four games despite facing subpar passers like Taylor Powell, Tre Ford, and Caleb Evans during that span.
Now the Redblacks meet one of the league's top QBs in the BC Lions' Vernon Adams, and he has plenty of weapons surrounding him. Despite missing almost three games with a knee injury, Adams is on pace for a career-high 4,731 passing yards. Since coming off the IL in Week 10, Adams has eclipsed the 300-yard mark in four straight games, completing 66% of his passes for 1,407 yards during that span.
Adams loves to attack deep and that's where the Redblacks are most vulnerable, with their secondary giving up a league-worst 33 pass completions of 30+ yards. Adams is tied for the CFL lead in average pass depth (12.8 yards) and also leads the league in attempts and completions of 20+ yards.
The O/U on Adams passing yards for Saturday is set anywhere from 279.5 to 290.5. Ignoring his Week 7 matchup against the Riders where he was injured on the opening drive, Adams has eclipsed even that higher number in eight of nine contests this season.
My best bet: Vernon Adams Over 279.5 passing yards (-125 at DraftKings)
Redblacks vs Lions same-game parlay
FanDuel has Adams' passing yards prop on the higher end of the spectrum but you're able to play the Over at -114 and combine it in an SGP play that could pay out nicely.
Lions wideout Keon Hatcher has the highest receiving yards prop of the week at 83.5, but it's Hollins who has become Adams' favorite target over the last month. Hollins has racked up more than 75 receiving yards in each of his last three games and should burn these Ottawa corners on the outside.
If Adams and Hollins go off, it's likely that the Leos will be putting up plenty of points. That should help them cover this hefty spread against a Redblacks side that is just 1-5 ATS in its last six games.

Redblacks vs Lions spread and Over/Under analysis
This line hit the board with the Lions at -9.5 before ticking up to -10, while the O/U has moved from 45.5 to 47.5.
The Lions looked like the most dominant team in the West Division after starting the year 6-1 SU and ATS. However, they've gone 2-3 SU and ATS since while suffering lopsided losses to the Blue Bombers and Tiger-Cats.
The Redblacks franchise seemed to be on the right track after Crum led them to upset wins against the Blue Bombers and Stampeders in Weeks 6 and 7. However, they've gone just 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS since even though their offense has performed much better.
Redblacks vs Lions trend to know
