Keep in mind that the Calgary Stampeders were playing on just four days' rest in that first meeting and were missing both starting tackles, which led to quarterback Jake Maier dealing with constant pressure. With LT Dante Demery and RT Joshua Coker back in the lineup, Maier should have more time to pick apart a vulnerable Ottawa Redblacks secondary.
The Redblacks have benefited from a cushy schedule so far. They got to play at home against the exhausted Stamps in Week 8 and enjoyed a bye in Week 9 before hosting another team who was on just four days of rest last week in the Roughriders.
Despite facing a Saskatchewan squad led by a backup QB and playing on a short week, the Redblacks were unable to get the job done as 3-point faves and settled for a tie. Now, they'll play on the road for the first in a month against a Stamps squad that is 4-0 SU and ATS at home.
Ottawa also has issues at quarterback with starter Dru Brown on the IL with a foot injury. Veteran Jeremiah Masoli has been named the starter this week but he has thrown just 10 passes since the midway point of 2022.
Masoli was a CFL East All-Star in 2018 but he's now 36-years-old and after multiple serious leg injuries, his ability to move in the pocket and throw on the run will be compromised. With a rusty Masoli at QB and the Stamps in a revenge spot at home, take Calgary on the spread.

Since he started this year on the 6-game IL, Masoli has only been available to practice for the last month, and he wasn't getting reps with the first team as the third-string QB. That lack of chemistry will be on full display early in the game, so expect Ottawa's offense to look out of sync in the first half.
Reggie Begelton has been Calgary's best receiver and Maier has been targeting him more in recent weeks. He had eight receptions for 97 yards in Week 9 before hauling in eight of 13 targets for 104 yards last week.
