The only way Manny wins by KO, no way they give him the decision even if he gives a boxing lesson (he lost to Castillo and Maidana, but the scorecards weren't really close 9-3, 8-4 against Maidana when Maidana either won 7-5 or it was a draw or 7-5 Floyd at the worst, Maidana was outboxing Floyd early and beating him up on the ropes)
Floyd by decision is the play, Manny will try his best but can't see either fighter getting KO'd. Floyd has the judges and refs in his pocket.
What? Smaller fighters? Bradley is the same height as Pacquiao. Algieri was a towering giant compared to Pacquiao. And Bradley and Algieri both had way more muscle mass than Pacquiao.
Bradley has a strong chin and has only been knocked down once in his whole career and Pacquiao knocked Algieri down to the canvas 6 times. Algieri showed the heart of a champion to get off the canvas 6 damn times.
I get the Castillo argument you brought up but completely disagree with the Maidana part. Maidana threw a lot of punches but most of them were blocked and were indirect glancing blows that just whiffed, grazed, and bounced off Floyd’s gloves with zero damage done.
Since the Juan Manuel Marquez KO
Rios (gloves up the entire match - knocked down once - knees buckled twice)
Bradley (Pacquiao fought 8 strong rounds and coasted 4 to get out with a decision)
Algieri (knocked down 6 times)
I don’t get the claims of Pacquiao declining or losing it?
People don’t realize that Pacquiao has been training for Mayweather for years. The fights against Clottey, Bradley, and Algieri were sparing partners in preparation for Mayweather’s philly shell - rope a dope - gloves up - running chicken - win by decision strategy.
I believe Pacquiao has come up with a game plan to crack the Mayweather code.
It’s going to be hard for Mayweather to win by decision with his face all busted up. I expect cuts, bruises, and lots of blood. (Oh, yes… there will be blood)
