Top Ten Fighters Of All Time
thesoulpurpose: I don't have the young-ego "I'm the man" mentality anymore. It was fun to converse with you but you call me old, that's fine, whatever is old to you. I've proved my skill and teaching times over with no other reason than to help. During my younger days when I did sparring 3 five round sets in near 120 degree weather after training (I was 17-19yrs old) I stayed and taught kids because trainers left and just the 78yr old owner as was poverty kids just wanting to learn waiting to use equipment cause there wasn't enough for many. I remember teaching kid after kid, and strangely I thought fighting was the greatest thing for me, but it was giving something to kids with nothing. Unfortunately I didn't train a fighter again untill 2005 (not a rank beginner, both multi golden glovers) and added another that month. One as I knew his father through early kickboxing and he signed with Golden Boy 2007. The other went on in light heavyweight and cruiserweight and won a recognized reional pro title in 2007. While in Vegas 4 months of the year I visited a few camps before major fights.
What is your weight class? I use to be welterweight, I gained size for MMA divisions, maybe the lowest I could get to is 168. Being 183lbs with low BFI it would be hard pressed and I would need to lose to much muscle mass. You saw what happened to RJJ after he gained all that weight and came down at his age... he was a different creature.

Zouk, you are right, I do have that I am the man mentality and it has got me in some trouble in the past, but it's that same mentality that will help to make me succesful , I moved to montreal to get away from every body, I left my son, friends and family, I just wont to focus on the only thing that makes me happy and that is boxing and montreal is one of the best places for it, the only place in canada, I don't like you, but if you did help to train all of this kids with no hope, than I will give you my props, any time someone does something to make this great sport better I respect it. I was suppose to have my pro debut on april the 23, but I had 2 different opponents pull out on me last min, I have given my life to this in every way a human can, Time will tell how far I can go, but no one is will in to give more,
Sorry, but this makes you a piece of shit. Whether your a future superstar or not, anyone male that leaves his SON and FAMILY isn't close to being a man. Especially when you say the only thing that makes you happy is boxing. Perhaps you should have thought about that before becoming a sperm donor. Hopefully that boy eventually get a REAL father.

thesoulpurpose: On your selected quote "If a man hasn't found something that he is willing to die for, than he isn't fit to live." You can only die once, the greater sacrifice is commiting your life to cause even with constant severe consequences.
Do you think or have you judged the people who crashed into the World Trade Centers were of greater person and character than a man who has yet to find a cause to die for?
Unfortunately most people that find a cause to die for I feel are brainwashed. The essence of life is not finding a reason to die, but the passion for life with all the reasons to live and give. Dying is something we all do whether you want to die or not... no philosophy in that, just the reality!

thesoulpurpose: "some bitch looking for a free ticket". Yes, I get your point and unfortunately it's a reality. I won't ask personal questions about your situation but only reply on what you stated. It appears you ran away from responsibility rather than face hard facts (again remember I'm not asking about your relations with your son, child support, etc..). In an earlier quote I stated moving to another city has it's benefits, but you go along with the move. I do wish you well in your career and in life as it seems you have some hurdles as we all do in someway. The light heavyweight I trained had major problems and a bad reputation. I got him back in the gym, off drugs, back with his kids and a championship belt to go. It was a roller coaster ride with him as expected, but in the end the people who asked why I stuck by him got to see a new person years later and more than just a boxing champ. It helps to have a mentor or friend no matter what. I don't know if you have someone or others like that but it's something we all need at times (even the most hard-headed self reliant people...like ME)!

First off, I was a sperm donor, it was some bitch looking for a free ticket, I will not let that ruin my life, as for my family, if I make it so do they, they are not forgotten, you piece of shit,
I know, you were sleeping, woke up, she was mounting you, and couldn't pull out or put on a condom, right? Typical excuse of a person who refuses to accept responsibility.
A REAL man could NEVER leave his son (or daughter) Why say if you make it they will be taken care of? You don't give a shit about them. You said so yourself by saying "The only thing that makes me happy is fighting" (boxing) As mentioned, your a piece of shit for not being a man and taking care of your son. Instead you make excuses about it blaming the woman, who may be a gold digger. But your the dumbass that broke inside here. Oh wait, let me guess, she said she was on the pill, you wore a condom but something went wrong.
As far as your career, best of luck. But if you have a book coming out, why wouldn't you want to advertise it instead of playing games like "Ask Teddy Atlas about some white boy Canadian who did this or that or blah, blah, blah" or "I'm not giving out the title or my name" I mean, really, think about how ignorant that sounds. Oh yeah, this is a gambling site that takes wagers, forgot.
With that, I'm done wasting my time, I've got MY FAMILY and ESPECIALLY, MY SONS to have fun with. Because there isn't ANYTHING in life that is more important than them.
