bizarre, as the counted it on the floored and it showed final 72-70 as fox left the broadcast. did they actually review a "meaningless" bucket after the game?

 Not pointless with regards to the point spread.   They always review everything for vegas.  I'm seeing 72-68 so they must of not counted it.  Funny stuff has been happening in those Indiana games.  Last time they were at home leal made 3 quarter court shot to screw the spread when michigan was favored by 3.5.  And indiana lost by 3.
