1. Teams with the better Kenpom or within 30 of the better Kenpom:

Today: 9-12 (42.9%) ATS

Overall: 20-21 (48.8%) ATS 

 

Teams within 30 of the better Kenpom:

Today: 3-3 ATS

Overall: 8-7 (53.3%) ATS

 

Teams with better Kenpom by at least 31:

Today: 6-9 (40.0%) ATS

Overall: 12–14 (46.2%) ATS

 

2. Teams that have played each other once or twice and are winless in the season series:

 

Today: 7-4 (63.6%) ATS (any Kenpom)

Overall: 16-5 (76.2%) ATS (any Kenpom)

 

Today: 2-1 (66.7%) ATS (Kenpom within 30 of the better Kenpom)

Overall: 7-1 (87.5%) ATS (Kenpom within 30 of the better Kenpom)

 

I will try to look at tomorrow’s tournament games for teams that are winless head-to-head and within 30 Kenpom of the team with the better Kenpom.

The Overall % looks pretty good so far for each.

There are 2 teams* with Kenpom within 30: William & Mary and Hampton.

Ironically, William and Mary will be the first favorite of teams that have played each other once or twice and are winless in head-to-head.

Playing 2 units on Kenpom within 30* and 1 unit on the rest. 

Additional info:

In Archmadness (MVC) last year, the Thursday winners playing on Friday went 1-3 SU. The average point differential was 6 points (6,3,12,3)
