I hate Duke. Big UNC fan. But Duke ( - 3.5 ) against WVU????

I'll just use these guys to make some cash. My play of the day.

they just squeeked by a 15 seed by 1.... of course its going to be a short line. im sure a lot of people will be on WVA. not saying any play is better than the other but the line isnt too off.... perception-wise.

Completely agree. The way I see it. If Duke covers I win $. If they don't then I'll be happy as hell that they lost or happy as hell that they almost lost...again. It's a win-win.

my worry is what if duke win the game but not cover....then we got double lost-lost.

I will just watch this game without any bet.

Always a possibility but I'd have to say unlikely. Duke had their scare. A back to back narrow win?? Again, I'd say unlikely. I think we'll be real happy one way or the other.

Remember when Duke was giving -5 to Virginia and they covered that game by DD's... everyone prior to tip off was saying the same thing about the shortline.

They almost got beat by Belmont... WVU beat Arizona by 10.  Is the line really that off?

I try to use this strategy sometimes, but the second the game starts I regret the decision.  There's the big  picture - moral reasons of athletics and the small picture - cheering on a team you dislike.

I employ this system when two teams I totally dislike square off against each other.

About the game...

I think Duke is a solid pick.  Average Joe saw how Duke played against Belmont and saw WVU beat Arizona, easily one of the top programs in the last 10-15 years. (Although not of late)

WV shot 60% from the arc........not going to happen again. 
 
Be willing to be they dont even shoot 45% in this game. 
 
DUKE wins by 12 points in this game.

Line is about right on IMO..
Duke went 6-21 against Belmont from the 3 pt line and barely got a win..
6-26 against their loss against clemson in the ACC championship..
duke covering depends on if they can hit their 3s?

Let's see. the ACC was the # 1 rated conference this year. ACC teams are 3-1 in the tournament. I can see an argument that 2-3 other conferences might be better but they're hardly a fraud.

Really clowner because I thought they were 3-1 with the only loss being a game Clemson had and completely blew but everyone has an opinion kind of like an....

ya 3-1 and almost 2-0 when they should have been 4-0 easy there 3rd best team lost to the 8th best big team that says it all and when duke loses today youll see for yourself but itll be too late to make money off that by then.

I couldn't agree more.  I have watched Duke more than 20 times this year, and they have a way of getting up for the teams they are supposed to.  If you looks at Demarcus Nelson and Kyle Singler, they bring it when they need to, but take games off against fluff.  The only real exception down the stretch was against St. John's at Cameron.  Duke wins by like 40.  The thing is, they had just lost consecutive games in ACC play to Miami and Wake, so they were pissed.  I wonder if almost losing to a 15 seed and becoming the negative talk of the tourney would piss them off as well...
