Thanks for the kind words, dialogue, and angles from both sides everyone. The beautiful thing about sports betting is there's a story for every side. Those who are on the Shockers are here to protect their side, I get it. There's no doubt in my mind that the Shockers will be a heavy public play this evening, but I do enjoy what I've been seeing from the line movement all day. I'm holding firm on this, my ticket was punched late last night and my research for the play was extensive for a little over a week. All things considered, when the line opened up above 3, that's when I told myself it was time to load up and push the chips in.

You think playing with home court advantage makes that large a difference here? they just got smoked by 20 on jan 18th as 11 point dogs...wichita beat northern iowa, drake, loyola chicago, illinois state, and bradley by more than indiana state did, and indiana state just lost by 15 to siu as a 4 pt fav, where wichita played them and was a 11.5 pt fav and won by 15

You deserved so much better on this pick so sorry for the loss.
When WSU made it thru the non-con without a loss I looked at their schedule and saw only three possible places they could lose during the MVC schedule:
1/11 @ Missouri State - After being completely blitzed by the Bears in the first half and being down by 18 at the half, somehow the Shockers win in OT by 3. I watched that game and the Bears played that 2nd half not to lose. This should of basically been WSU's first loss.
2/5 @ Indiana State - I agree with you in that I love the way ISU is playing and that was an impressive win at NI. Additionally the Shockers are starting to get a little bit of butt puckering and I know the streak is starting to get to them. Once again down the stretch this was ISU's game to win much like Mo State but the Shockers find a way to pull it out.
2/8 @ Northern Iowa - This game would of set up nicely with the Shockers coming off a hard fought game at ISU and going to another tough place to play in NI. However with the injuries that the NI team has currently, it would be impossible to place a bet on this to pull the upset. Im not even sure they have the current squad to cover a spread unless it was double digits given the injuries.
I will say that if the Shockers go undefeated in the regular season there is no way they will win Arch Madness. There will be way too many hungry teams on the bubble trying to make the tourney.
