For me it is D.J. Augustin he is supposed to be a star but he overdribbles, has long shooting droughts, and has been awful down the stretch. Who is on your list?

ROY HIBBERT IS BY FAR THE MOST OVERRATED PLAYER IN COLLEGE HOOPS...BOTTOM LINE.

Augustin - NO WAY!!!............he's in a little slump, but as soon as he gets out, back to normal.  You're going on his play of late.  Look at earlier in the season.  Hopefully, he'll be playing like that next month!!!

It is true I am judging more recently than full year but he better not be all-american I can name 10 point guards I would rather have this year...

I like the idea of Chase Buddinger...but watching Drew Neitzel play right now against Indiana makes him a major favorite.  He's not horrible, but certainly not an All-American.

ok first off, we are not talking about the pros...we are talking about college basketball and the fact that u think he's the most overrated player in college basketball just means a) u gotta lay off the crack pipe or b) u know nothing about college basketball... if he wasn't on carolina, they would have about 5 or 6 losses right now...everytime he gets the ball in the block he either scores or goes to the foul line... it's one thing to think he's overrated but it's another thing to think he's the most overrated player in the nation.

 

as for my vote I would have to say O.J. Mayo

You lose all credability with saying Mayo.  Tyler is absolutely overrated and it isnt him its Ty Lawson who makes the difference on that team. They would still win without Tyler.

Nice heated discussion keep it up! Hansbrough to me is impressive statistically, but all super high percentage shots and ty lawson is going to make some NBA team really happy...

Are you serious? That might be -- no wait -- IS the dumbest answer you could've given. Hansbrough is the best college basketball player in the nation, hands down. There is not a single player I would rather have on my team. I don't care about his potential pro career, because we're talking about college. Hansbrough is POY and it's not even close.
