Oral Roberts is the of the most offenses in the nation, ranking 3rd best.
They also don't turn the ball over, ranking 3rd best in the nation.
All ORU needs is a 2-3 possession lead and this will put the weight of the world on these young Duke players who have struggled to take care of the ball at times.
People love to bet the name "Duke" but I think they are in big trouble and will be one of the 5-seeds "exiting left" after the game.
ORU +7 (buy) & ML +220

They also play in a conference that isn't anywhere near as good. If you had Duke play their schedule where do you think Duke would rank in those categories? Probably 1st?

Acutaly it's quite opposite ORU is a huge public underdog right now taking 88% of the handle. I'm guessing because every simple Google search is saying bet ORU . Think duke will be fine although I do have a small wager on ORU just incase it goes haywire

Maybe a better question is, how would ORU do if they played in the ACC?
A lot better than you, or most, would think.

Exactly...I'm not sure where all this OR love is coming from. The last time I bet against Duke is when I fell for the Pitt. trap, won't do that again, and surely with an Oral Roberts team. But hey, it's tourny time....shit happens! I'm no Duke fan, but they dam sure look like they were one of the teams getting stronger entering the tourny....

OR had knocked off the #2 seed in the first round 2021, and went on to win the next game as well. They are a well coached team.
Second mouse gets the cheese.

Coaching, experience, discipline, offensive efficiency and they don't turn the ball over - all things needed to win big games.

Scoresandodds ...... I'm guessing you're new but pretty much any betting application can give you this easy to find info . You know it's ok to be on a public bet no need to get up in your feelings

I would have been on oral Roberts if duke limped into the tourney but they are red hot and figured out their problems and won the acc title. Oral roberts wins are against terrible teams. This would be duke or no play for me. There are much better games on board than this one,

You don't trust data collection / information sites like Scoresandodds, Sports dime , Action network etc all of which aren't public free access they are paid for ( besides scoresandodds ) yet your on a covers fourm ? I'm simply pointing out everyone isn't " Betting the Duke name " it's the opposite . Your post isn't ground breaking the majority of people are placing their money on ORU . If you're that weirded out about " public " information then why even be on the internet lol

I don't trust any public site where there's a clear conflict of interest and whose biggest stream of income comes from the sportsbooks and you losing your bets.
Covers and scoresandodds are just 2 examples.

Duke also pretty fortunate to run into some teams with injuries. Not worried about the ACC too... Couldn't even get a 14-6 Clemson team into the dance.

Maybe people remember afew back oral roberts with Abmas and Obanner won the conference tourney and went to the sweet 16. I liked them to make a little run myself until selection Sunday put them against red hit Duke…the 7 points looks juicy though

They both are 2 of the best free throw shooting teams in the tournament as well shooting almost 80% as a team.....I just like teams who can hit their free throws......Just threw that out there! Wish the Best to all, Knock!

Big time Duke fan here. Born and raised in Durham, season tickets and watch every game. The best way to neutralize more athleticism is by passing the ball which OR seems to do better than ACC teams who are more dribble heavy and play using a lot of on-ball screens. So yeah I think OR could score but the only way they stop Duke from doing the same is foul trouble. Otherwise there is simply no way OR can stop Duke's athleticism on their defensive end. The play in the game is probably the over tbh. And yeah I bet it's close but Duke should win this one...
