The line is not 8.5 anywhere. It's 6 to 6.5.

g-twn is 14-1 at home. ND is 5-5 on the road, ND struggles against defensive teams. G-twn is a defensive team. This game is for a bye in the big east tourney. G-twn is coming to play tonight

I laid G-Town -6(-120)...  Here are ND scores away from home in regulation vs teams w/ winning conference records 58, 53, 55 & 50.  ND shot 81for252(32%)fg & 16for84(19%)3pt in those same 4 games while seeing their TO per game rise from 9.8pg to 13.5pg in those games. The recent Irish streak was fraudulent IMO and they just proved that theory to be more than correct losing to a very mediocre St. John's team last game (Which I was a proud ticket holder of on the Johnnies)....

ND beat USF & Syracuse  =  the 2 top defensive teams in the Big East.


And ND beat Louisville & UConn  =  the 2 top FG% defensive teams in the Big East...

 

The Fighting Irish play up to the better Big East teams, and the play down to the weaker Big East teams...

 

I'm thrilled @ getting +6.5 and hope the line just chills, all day.

My opinion on your overall post:

Just another thought process that's flawed here. Vegas doesn't operate on the know how or outcome of a game. They operate on the pure fact that they want to end up w/ balanced action on both sides of any game. So please take your conspiracy theories and throw them in the garbage.
