GT was crushed by Marquette, and here at Maui Invitational did not look overly impressive.
I see you must have missed the fact that GT hung with Kansas from start to finish only losing by 4 and then blowing out Chaminade as they were supposed to followed by a 91-88ot win over the hyped up Memphis Tigers. They were slated to lose to Kansas as 5.5pt dogs so I wouldn't say the Maui Invite was a unimpressive by any means...

ND beat USF & Syracuse = the 2 top defensive teams in the Big East.
And ND beat Louisville & UConn = the 2 top FG% defensive teams in the Big East...
The Fighting Irish play up to the better Big East teams, and the play down to the weaker Big East teams...

Which part(s) of Georgetown's game gives them an advantage over Notre Dame?
GT's home defense of 52.5ppg is about as solid as it gets from the defensive perspective. Also GT starts 5 players and not one of them averages less than 45% in the FG department on offense. It would take you a very long time to start listing other teams that have that quality. You can describe this in one word as "Efficient"...

Honestly, they have a lot more length and athleticism than Notre Dame. That doesn't necessarily mean they'll shut down Notre Dame but they should be able to win the hustle plays and the boards, too.
Also, they shoot a higher FG% at 46.2% to 43.7% for Notre Dame and they hold opponents to 28.5% from the three.
It should be an entertaining game.

I'm playing solely on the fact of ND playing great basketball -vs- the top Big East teams, and GTown is one of 'em. And GTown is great @ home, not discounting that...
No trends, No systems, No crap. The Irish are playing good basketball, at the right time...
I'm smellin' a 50 something to 50 something ball game... and hopefully it's within 6pts.

Look who they got at home? their schedule is pretty soft when you look at their true away games and they struggled with all of them. It is what it is though ND is a solid team and they could easily stay within the number. I don't see ND getting much over 50, i think g-twn can hit 60 maybe 70.

vegas isn't stupid! the line screams notre dame..because if you look at power rankings nd is way ahead of gtown. so why are they not favored? because gtown is starting to play well and g are very good at home..on the other side nd is not the same team on the road.

Notre Dame has quality wins @ Louisville, UCONN, Hall, Nova and WV. Sure they are much tougher at home, but don't count them out on the road. Lost big @ cinci and zaga, both when they weren't playing team ball. They have a record for not playing well @ MSG. Should be a good one tonight.

Well the history isn't all that good for the Irish @Hoyas as ND is 1-5su in their L6 and seeing that the Irish last visit to the Verizon center was that lone win in those past 6 one could make a strong argument that revenge could play a serious factor as well for good motivation. Also I highly suggest you take off those Nova & WV win's as being determined a quality win. One could even venture to say Uconn & SH could be stricken from that list as well. Hell as far as i'm concerned I'm not even a full believer in L-Ville and as I stated above would slap a sell status on all 5 of em. I can give the average joe a pass for trying to claim the L-Ville, Uconn & SH wins as being quality but anyone who is trying to make a case that Nova & WV are quality wins needs their head examined promptly and is clearly not looking any further than the good old match up screen on any web site...
