We'll see if Illinois State handles this letdown and look ahead a bit better than the situation where they beat UNI then went to Southern Illinois. Jump shooting teams tend to letdown a bit more, so might be a nice spot to fade. Evansville has surprised me a bit so far in the conference, # is probably close to where it should be.

I like Florida State, just not worth trusting the offense against a good Clemson defense. Seems like a game where the team with the ball in their hand for the last shot isn't going to make it, LOL.

Love Seton Hall's defense, hate the fact that they're going on the road after two big home wins.

Florida Atlantic definitely holds value, I just didn't like the way that Arky LR is going to defend the guards here, and that's a big source of offense for Jarvis' team. Under is a bit risky, but holds value as well.

No feel on Arkansas this year, but Mississippi State's had a week to prep against a team that's been playing nobodies for the better course of  December.

I love Florida. Offense is deadly. What I don't like is that Tennessee should have came out with some motivation against Memphis in an immediate revenge spot and they didn't, so it's a good chance they were waiting for this one. Florida's only really, really, early tip on the year, and on the road. Expect a bit of a drop in offense probably.

Agree with the UF/Tenn game, avg scoring of both teams equals 160pts+, UF will slow down on O as I believe Tenn will as well, noway they want to get into shootout with Gators. Game will be close and FT's will make it close to going over but gotta believe Vegas set this total so low for a reason.

Thanks Neil.  Am I missing something with the total of 143.5 for Stanford at Oregon State?

I think this total goes way over just like OSU vs Cal on Thursday night.

NROPP- Doesnt it scare you a little bit that Loyola MD largest margin of victory this year is only 10 points?  I know Canisius is bad but Loyola has a hard time pulling away.  Just would like to hear your thoughts on the game bro.  Great work man

I take that back, they did beat Marist by 13.  They have played a lot of road games too

Nah. I don't think Canisius gets off the bus. They're playing the tail end of a three-game roady where the first two came against tough and physical defenses in St. Peter's and Fairfield, and the last four they've played in have been against snails. I'm expecting a dropoff in terms of the road trip, and in terms of having to pick the pace up a bit having not been use to it for the better part of the past few weeks.

Within the matchups, there really isn't a single spot on the floor I don't like. Loyola MD's strength is getting the ball into the post where they have advantages, and while Canisius defensive #'s on the inside are good in terms of turnovers and block percentages, a majority of those are skewed as they have played quite a few guard oriented teams. 

Had this circled for a while. Best spot I will come across in the MAAC this year. Loyola's struggles thus far is keeping it lower than what the true # should be, and with that, you have tons of value.

Short turnaround for both and big letdown for Oregon State, and bounceback for Stanford who should have an improvement on defense. Teams played a similar spot last year to 126.

Beat a Marist team who has a much better offense, offensive system, and a slightly better defense, and had two extra days of prep and rest than what Canisius brings in here.

Kinda Liking ODU as I dont think Towson gets to 45. 1st H -11.5 is tempting too, I see a 35-17ish ht score. Thoughts?

Both teams are banged up. Anyone who can invest in this game is playing a guessing game with what irregulars are going to step up. Should be low scoring. Grab a pillow, turn this one on, and take a nap.

Towson is bad, but 27 points bad? I think Drexel's size scared em a bit. Just tough to back ODU's offense, unless they're defense leads to points. It's one thing fading Towson, but it's another fading them in a snail. Just ugly games to be a part of, especially with how bad their defense is. First half prediction? ODU 21, Towson 11.

I will add ODU's been a part of Missouri and George Mason (rival) at home the past week (along with an OT win at James Madison) How do they show up today? LOL. Very well could wax Towson, actual probable that they will, but you go from the top of the totem pole into a tough road win back to the top of the totem pole against a conference rival, fail in two of those, then asked to come back a short time later and play a team that's the worst in the country.

Good luck today Neil as well to your Illini.  I thinking this might go over (who knows how Doc has prepped).  Nebraska only put up 40 against Ohio St. but that was some of the best defense I have ever seen.

Do short turnarounds  in college bball games usually hurt or help offenses? Or is it different for every team?

I keep asking u about so many games today but  now I want to ask u about your 5 star on the Over on George Mason and Ga State. It is at 127 now. I know  Mason hit 84 on Charleston and played well vs ODU.   Thanks again

Nropp11, I can't think for myself so I rely on your expertise to make every decision in my life.... Just a couple quick questions before noon:

1.) I was thinking Ham and Cheese for lunch because I haven't enjoyed them at Home in weeks. The O/U is set at 4 slices of ham but If there are say 6 slices left in the package I might hammer the O and go with 6. You agree??

2.) I haven't showered or brushed my teeth yet and i've been up for 5 hours. Any chance I do both before dinner??? Possible parlay???

3.) And lastly, I was planning on having unprotected sex tonight with a random stranger, as I often do. I'm not proud of it and i'd really enjoy someone to call my own but I'm just not ready for commitment right now, ya know? Anyways, I was wondering what your take on average partners before contracting an STD.. I know the numbers aren't in my favor but sometimes I feel invincible, like I have a huge advantage against the house, but I know anything more than 11 people is a death sentence. THOUGHTS?!?

Also, i'd appreciate any leans you have on the Take 5 lottery drawing in NY tonight and maybe the average rainfall this month in Nevada... If you have time
