I wonder if nropp will have a play today? There isn't many games today so probably not. For those who follow his picks all know his write-ups are amazing. He really knows college basketball.

I think FAU holds a bit of value as a dog, but that’s about it. Their offense has been brutally awful as of late and I’m being kind. They’re playing their third game in five days tonight and end the roadtrip, before welcoming in the top Sun Belt team in Middle Tennessee State. I doubt they can look ahead with a loss last time out, but the spot is present to make them look silly. Arkansas State is pretty much a mirror image of Arky LR, who just beat FAU, and they have a bit more size at the guard position, which is not going to help a struggling FAU offense that relies heavily on its guard play. I have this weird picture in my head of this Uconn and WVU game being a nice up and down tempo as the matchups on both side should really force this one to be a bit more up and down than either team really wants to play. Uconn’s scored 70+ in every home game this year with the exception of snail Harvard, so being at home helps. They’re using the guards quite a bit more than they have in past years in terms of balance, and they’re extremely young which leads to some problems on the defensive end, which in turn leads to more WVU points tonight. Throw out the Seton Hall low total. That’s a much different defensive scheme that what Uconn will bring. They will go zone at times, and WVU has shown that they aren’t afraid to shoot them. The past couple years, this meeting has had possessions in the 59-62 range, but both featured much better defense than what both are showing this year. On a side note, both teams offensive rebound extremely well, and both teams get to the foul line a ton. They aren’t necessarily great at shooting free throws as I have pointed out about both teams in the past, but the opportunities will be there. Just too much youth in this one for the teams to play slow, and I think both coaches will realize that and let them go. Sandwich game for both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Oklahoma has played a bit of zone this year under Kruger, so if he does that tonight, then the advantage goes to Oklahoma State. When Page can get shot attempts, OSU is a much better team. I have no interest in Cincy/Georgetown. Not really interested in backing Georgetown at all this year as I’ve pointed out numerous times as their wins and losses are a direct result of how well they shoot the three. For what it’s worth, Cincy’s really good at defending it. If San Francisco gives up 81 to BYU, why can’t they give that up or at least a higher # here to St. Mary’s on two days rest? Both teams play fast, both team’s offenses are certainly respectable enough to push this over the total. Check out what San Fran’s given up on the road lately: 81 to BYU, 88 to Holy Cross, 77 to Pepperdine, and another 77 to Loyola MMT. When you give up 77 points to Pepperdine, there is a reason to believe that you’re defense is bad. Taking you back to that BYU game, there was a total of 48 three’s attempted, and St. Mary’s shoots it quite a bit more than BYU does. Now, St. Mary’s does have Gonzaga on deck, so there is a chance for the letdown, but really even in a letdown, the opportunities against a bad defense will be there to score. And if the letdown is prevalent, then with the pace that both play, the shot attempts are going to be quite a bit higher than that BYU blowout was, which leads to more opportunities to score. San Francisco does not have the size to stop St. Mary’s on the interior, which is going to open up some easy shots on the outside. No interest in Wyoming. Both teams play slow primarily b/c both teams offense blow. Wyoming’s in your face guard defense is designed to shutout teams like Idaho State who don’t really have any players who can create a shot for themselves, and Idaho State plays a zone so I don’t feel like backing a Wyoming team that isn’t all that great of a shooting team, and a team that has been complacent at times on offense setting for the three-pointer, especially when they welcome in New Mexico next. Probably a good spot for an under, but if this game gets out of hand then the pace is going to pick up.
1* West Virginia/Uconn Over 137.5
1* San Francisco/St. Mary’s Over 142

Nropp, I went over all your totals for Nov and Dec including leans. You were 61-73 for overs and 66-56 for unders, so be careful if you make those 5* as that is not where you are at your best. My suggestion is stick to unders where you are much better.( From 120-139 for example, you were 42-28, and with overs just 39-48). This is was a good sample and took some time, so hope this helps you with your totals. Thank you for sharing your work each day.

I'm just hoping it lives up to the hype. I went under...tiny. Don't see value in playing any side.
