Rider and Drexel stood out to me as two dogs that can not only cover but potential to win outright today, any insight would be appreciated!
I see value in Rider as they have the bigger physical guards to combat the pressure, but they turn the ball over way too much and they're on the fourth and final game of the roadtrip.

wondering if i could ask you to comment on what seems to me like an impossibly high total. could boise @ fresno really get to 139 points (without overtime)? i had this game at 68-60-ish. boise doesn't score on the road, and while fresno had certainly been a bit better over their last 6 games, i don't see them putting up 75 here.
would love to know what you think about this one.

Both teams are better offensively than they are defensively, and both like to get out and run. First meeting between the two a few weeks ago landed 133 after a cold shooting 49 point 1H (put up 88 2H). Don't look too much into Boise's road woes offensively. They played an Iowa team who utilizes full court pressure, a weird Denver style, and two awfully good defensive teams in LSU and LBSU. They're familiar enough with Fresno here having been a part of the WAC in recent years, so they should be familiar as far as what they're doing. If anything, I would put the value on the over grabbing an extra possession from the 142 oddsmakers had listed just two weeks ago.

Hard for me to picture this game going over 100, and with that, I couldn't make a case to lay any road chalk. This is really Virginia's first real test facing a team that uses ball pressure on the outside and it's on the road. Should be a good game, just don't see any value in trying to determine what offense is able to score when they need it most. Both teams have essentially had a week of prep as they both have played a couple patsies within the past week. I think the under holds the most value, just a scary low listed total.

Letdown might be a bit overstated as you say, but that's going to be how you approach the game and the match-ups. I think all teams letdown at some point in the season, you just have to try and pick the spots where you think it occurs. Just the past few days you have Illinois State who looked pathetic on the road in conference after their biggest conference win in years. You have Oklahoma State losing a game they probably don't lose 90 times out of 100 after playing a rough 2OT battle. You have Wichita State going on the road, making all their shots and posting a 90, only to come home to letdown in a poor showing in conference against Creighton. Clearly, again it's just a personal preference for me. And it depends on the spot, and more than just the letdown. But anyone that takes part in sports lets the guard down a little bit. They're all human. Obviously, not letting down is the difference between the good teams and the bad ones.

Can I ask how much the "letdown" (for lack of a better word) angle fits for you? If you thought Delaware's mental preparation for this game was average, how much would you like the play? It really depends on how people use the letdown. I see many use it in instances where Team A just beat the ranked Team B. That's a commonly used angle, but I like to take it a step further. How do the matchups look? How will the styles work against each other? Travel? Scheduling? Just some other things to go into the equation. I guess to answer your question, the letdown is just a slice of the pie that goes into the game. Granted, at times it can be more than just a slice, but it's really up to you to find the angles that work best.
As for the Delaware game today, the letdown encompasses not only a lack of time to prepare, but a letdown in terms of mentally showing up (I hope).
