OK well today was an uneventful nonsense day, and we went an uneventful nonsense 1-1   for a minus 100 bucks. Not exactly Bear Stearns. I am in my hotel, will get some rest and begin our battle in earnest tomorrow.

no offense but I don't think it's possible to just tail without your own preferences shining through.  You will just be making your picks that you agree with another trusted capper...At least that would be my problem.  Like the Cle St.

Actually it is quite simple the way I am handling my own potential bias.  I have a list of cappers I look for and if  several are on a side and no one is opposed I play it. Several of the cappers tonite had opposing opinions on UAB game, Personally on my acct I am playing UAB, but here it is a pass. I am not pushing my own sides in at all, literally zero percent. The only personal influence from me is I bet both game and half if enough players like the game

I think picking and chosing from different capper each days wouldn't make you much profit as to just follow a few capper's every play. Who knows, what if it's just bad luck and you tail all the losing picks . JMO. GL though.

Everybody uses the board to confirm their picks anyway, but not same a blindly tailing picks. The way you are doing it though, there is still a selection process you are doing yourself.Obviously,
it can be successful if you use some posters who get hot. I don't see how you can divorce your own personal biases in the picks you go with.....is that really possible?

read the post  above yours, I am 100% not letting my opinions get invloved. When I like a game I am betting it on my own accounts.....Look at the uab game I mentioned, it was a game that  contradicting  opinions were shared by the people I am tailing. So it was a no play in either driection. But like I said in the thread, I like UAB so I am betting them on my own accts.

It is easy not to use my own opinions because this is in no way preventing me from making my own plays in any way. I would even go AGAINST a consensus pick here on my acct if  I LOVED A GAME and all the cappers were on the other side,, that is HIGHLY unlikely though because I respect these guys so I would think twice, and even a third time. However is it possible, absolutely.

Hello all  tomorrow the NCAA big dance begins, so far in NIT my consensus picks are down 4.7 units.  Now although the picks have not been stellar, I do place alot of the responsibility on myself and not the handicappers. The reason being the winning percentage for first halves has been very low and that is something I do often when I like a side. I play game and half. So I have been betting game and side for  the cappers picks.
 
Sometimes it works, I played philly tonite half and game in the NBA and ended up with a split after they blew a healthy lead late. However so far in the NIT it has hurt me.
 
Tomorrow we look to turn it around, games start EARLY ( 6am) here, so I am going to bed early. Good night all.

you can, just make sure you are playing 3 games or less per day. otherwise you chances of winning consecutive days in a row is going to go down.

I have always disagreed with the 2 games a day or 3 games a day idea. You should bet when you feel the number is right. If that is 8 games bet them, if that means no plays for 3 days that is fine also. How do you restrict your own opinion?  What if you reach your maximum and then the casino puts up a halftime line you consider  HORRIBLE...do you pass?  I appreciate your insight but I think those type of restrictions are for people who can not handicap very well and it is just to minimize losses. Again I appreciate  your input.

I agree with you on the number of plays not being a set thing.
I would respectfully drop the 1st half betting if I were you. If
you already think you have a good bet with the side play, then
leave it at that. A good play is a good play.

Whose plays are those? Meaning what capper? I think it would be great to put the capper who you got the play from in parentheses next to the play...
